His fathere is one of the greatest in the history of the sport. Regardless of his individuality he will be compared to his very famous father period. Good for him he can show that the Jordans can conquer more than just the hoop and court

He's carving his own path his own way. You'd think people would be impressed that an athlete decided to put his education first, and not back-burner it like so many others.

If his heart is not in basketball anymore why do it.He quit basketball because he plans on doing something that he wants to do, not follow in his fathers footsteps,he has a full academic scholarship impressive, when his parents could have cut a check for all four years at one time. Michael Jordans children do not have to work a day in their lives, but are choosing to make their own paths, which says a lot about how they were raised.

He quit basketball to concerntrait on his studies. He has said that he wants a life "AFTER BASKETBALL" which in my opinion is commendable. He is looking at the big picture. If he gets hurt or can't play as good as he does, then he has something to fall back on. I'm tired of the black community always pushing our black young men into sports or the music industry and not push them as hard into their studies. It seems as though money and fame drives us and that is SAD. People need to understand that there is a life a career outside of those things and i'm VERY VERY PROUND OF HIM. He will always get the chance to play ball because of his name but once he let his studies slip by him there is no guarantee that he will be able to re-focus on them. I'm sure that dad is proud of him and so should everyone else.

I've said my peace and now let the commenting begin...lol

He's a handsome young man! I think its great that he's focused more on education and obtaining his degree because some of these athletes have nothing to fall back on at the end of their career.
