Director and actor Mario Van Peebles and his daughter attended the “Pre” Party hosted by Debra Lee in celebration of the BET Awards 2009 at the Drago Centro at the Jewel Box on June 27, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. In all, Mario has five children: Akaylo, Mandela, Marley, Maya and Morgana (3 boys, 2 girls).

I grew up with Mario’s sister who passed away. They are wonderful people and I miss Megan alot! I see her auntie Megan’s smile in Maya’s smile. Megan left two beautiful boys behind.

Actually the Mario and his wife Chitra have five children: Makaylo, Mandela, Marley, Maya and Morgana (3 boys, 2 girls). They also have a show on TV One that talks about green living for African Americans.
