Joe Jackson, the father of the late Michael Jackson, held a press conference earlier today (June 29) outside of the Jackson family home in Encino, CA. During the conference, Joe mentioned that Michael’s three kids are adjusting rather well and that he and his family ” love those kids, too.”“We’ll give them the education they’re supposed to have,” he added

Is it just me or does anyone else notice that Joe Jackson was more interested in promoting his new record company than talking about the mourning of his family? Is this just an age thing or is he that hungry and cold? I feel certain that what he did at that news conference was an embarrassment to his family. And there were Sharpton and Jackson standing there helping him. You would think that they would have advised him that this is not the time for career promotions. Guess he hasn’t changed much from when the kids were small. Pity!
I am really glad the Jackson kids are doing so well. Why doesn’t Janet get custody?I mean what if something happens to Katherine?I would hate for those kids to have to lose someone again.So I think Janet should get custody. She seems like she would make a good mom. I hope the court really does what is best for these kids.
That is what I worry about too. I was all for her taking custody until I found out about her age and health.
Let’s just pray that the kids are put first and things are done in their best interest.
Dear God,PLEASE keep these kids away from Joe. He, Sharpton and Jesse belong together..they are all buffoons! I hate that they claim to represent the black race. They are an embarassment and the Jacksons should separate themselves from them, esp that freaky Al Sharpton. HE is a publicity whore.

I completely agree with Khrish Hill. Joe Jackson is a disgrace to Michael’s memory with all of his shameless self promotion. He made a comment saying he wished everyone had shown Michael how much he was appreciated when he was still alive to see it. Well Mr. Jackson how about showing Michael that same respect after his death that you obviously never showed him in life. Sit down and be quiet, let all of us who really loved and appreciated Michael mourn his memory with dignity.

Lord forgive me if I’m being mean or insensitive. Why do Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton feel they gotta be somebody spokesperson all the dang time? God gave us all a mouth and they are not our mouths. And what does Joe mean about the education they supposed to have. Everybody coming out tryna get a piece of this mans money. Disgusting.

I don’t understand why the children are with the Jackson family, all the children (Michael and La Toya especially) are messed up, that can’t be a coincidence. They shouldn’t be getting custody.
This guy is a joke and is probably the reason Michael was so troubled.

Joe Jackson, is a sorry excuse for a father, he is the very reason Michael turned out the way he did, he tried to win his fathers’ affection at all costs, but his father was too busy with his greed to be around, for any of his kids. I really loved and still love Michael he is a hero. i relate with him as my dad was something similar to Joe, but as a born again christian I forgave my dad a long time ago.
Joe you should act your age first of all, secondly take responsibility, thirdly seek salvation, and fourthly be an example to Jackos kids…..

O please Joe is not going to hurt those kids…….They are better off with there grandparents at least they will be around cousins and aunts and uncles……They do not know Debbie Rowe…that could be real traumatic for them if they went with her..

Just looking at this man makes me uneasy. Yuck, I could see the pound signs flashing, im surprised he didnt end the press conference by directing the well wishers over to a stall selling RIP MJ merchandise. He physically makes me ill. What a disgusting human being and a shameful father he is. Noone can forgive his behaviour. Its well documented that hes the cause of so much of MJs hurt in his life, and even in death he can’t let the boy be. I hope against hope he doesnt get his greedy grabbing paws on one damn cent of any money, and that his grandkids only know of him in passing.
