that is a beautiful man…..i did not like Halle’s little performance at the Spike Guy’s Award. BAck in the day when she was single and not a mother that would have been perfectly fine but when you have a family not so appropriate.
When is she gonna get married to this man….i get she may not want to get into marriage cause of her past but what kind of example is that. Whats up with all these women having kids with no husband. Makes no sense. I dont understand why the concept of family and marriage is slowly disintegrating from American society

It seems to me that Hallee no longer believes in being with someone forever (based on past relationships I’m guessing). IMO she was just looking for someone of convenience who would be a good father to their child (the last part was from her words). She found that in Gabriel but I am wondering how long they will last. From interviews that he has given he seems to want more but that doesn’t seem to mesh with what Halle wants.
Who knows? Maybe not being married will keep them together. Lord knows that marriage sure doesn’t these days, especially in Hollweird.

With all due respect, the awards show that Halle did that on was the SpikeTV Guy awards and the entire show was inappropriate..that is what that show was about.. a bunch of cursing and sexual behavior, so I dont understand why some black people are coming down on Halle for something thats really not that serious. She was not the only woman that kissed someone onstage that night. Both Mila Kunez and Rosario Dawson both kissed men on the mouth that night and are both in relationships themselves, and their kisses weren’t even staged. So please. All this talk about how “inappropriate” it was, yet im sure the same people talking tuned in to watch the show. Hypocrisy at its finest.
Also, if she chooses not to get married again, what business is that of any of ours? She has been wityh this man about as long as her previous relationship, so obviously what they are doing must be working for them. If she were to turn around and get married to him then people would be talking about her for going against her word of not wanting to marry again. Its not her responsibility to “set an example” for other people. Marriage doesn’t garentee a kept relationship. The divorce rate is at its highest. If this is what is working for her, then let her live.

Actually, i happen to have not watched the show. Its not my taste. I didnt even know about Rosario or Mila whatever kissing other dudes. I only knew about Halle because it was posted everywhere from youtube to yahoo and all these black celebrity blogs. SHe was the only one they talked about because apparently not only did she kiss jamie but she was grabbing his crotch and he was grabbing her butt and all that nonsense. So it was not JUST a kiss, thats why people were talking about it so much and it was all over. If it was just a kiss then they would have talked about the other two women as well. No matter how you look at it, it was not classy at all.
The kiss would have been one thing but all that touching and gyrating was highly unnecessary and that more than anything is what made the whole thing inappropriate. Hope she doesnt make a habit of that because this is like her 2nd or 3rd time kissing some random dude at an award show i mean come on. She is not the classiest woman ever but she is better than that is all im saying.

Darkskin is the issue.IF YOU ARE DARK SKIN, YOUR CONSIDERED TO BE TERRIBLE OR DIRTY. IF YOUR LIGHT SKIN YOUR SWEET .. My point is that darkskin blacks are never accepted anywhere and its a shame that people don’t acknowledge them at all!!!(especially BLACK WOMEN)

Dark Skinned people aint the only people with acceptance issues. my mother is african my dad is white. when I go to Africa i’m ‘a white girl’ when I’m in the west I’m ‘a black girl’. Do you know how confusing it is growing up with that outlook?
I’ve had job rejections for predominately white companies because of the colour of my skin.
Interacial people recieve as much stigmatation as darker hued brothers and sisters.
Dark skinned sisters who don’t know me give me the cold shoulder all the time because they think life is easier on ‘that front’.
I’ve been rejected by brothers who preferred darker toned sisters.
…what do i do? i deal with it and move on.

I’m gonna give Halle a break. She is black and she claims black – just like a our pres. I like that.
And I think her ‘pref’ (if she had one) is for black men. All she dated at first (or all that was in the media) was black men. She married two black men. I don’t think she gave up on them, I think she was open to love and in step a white guy and things seem to work out.
It happens that way sometimes.
I wouldn’t rule out a dark skinned or brown baby for halle if she were to have another one. If it doesn’t work out between her and Aubry, there is a real possibility she may fall for another black guy. Or an Asian. Or hispanic. Or Samoan. Or whatever. I think she is open to anyone that will offer her the type of love she seeks.
I think she might even get married again even tho she said she won’t ever. I won’t hold her to that comment about never getting married again. I think she said in the mist of having her 2nd marriage crumble. But if she doesn’t get married again, that cool too (I don’t tout marriage as the end-all-be-all so unmarried moms are cool with me).
And I think the kid is Gabe’s. She favors him more than Halle to me. And why would she lie about her kid’s father? Seriously, why would she? And Gabe hasn’t asked for a paternity test, so he must believe it’s his too.

Jannieboo, have you ever seen a picture of Gabriel’s face? He’s def the father, baby looks just like him, with Halle’s nose. And I’ve seen pics of just him and Nahla together. Gorgeous little lady, Nahla is… this is one good-looking bunch, lol. And about the black/white thing- if you went to another site and we saw White people complaining about how there won’t be any more Caucasians left in the future because too many are procreating with Blacks, the whole Black community would have a fit. We want integration, and then complain about it when it happens, lol. What the deal with that?

I find it funny when people say the race mixing will turn everyone the same biege colour.
Especially with all the mixed twins with different colours that were in the papers over the last couple of years and shows the nature by its nature produces variation. Genes for skin, hair colour and other features pass form parent to child some are expressed and others lay dormant sometimes for generations.
Like remee and Kian hodegson, both parents are half black and half white. One came out white skinned and the other dark skinned.
