Nicole is such a great mom, she have really changed. For all you idiots that think she is half black or Lionel’s biological child, she is not. Nicole is half puerto rican/half white, her father played in the band way back when Lionel was in that group. Shelia E. is Nicole’s biological aunt, now lets see how many of you debate that.
Like Blue said, she is part black, thank you very much! Also, what is with the whole race issue on this site. Many people are mixed with black, it doesnt need to be brought up every 5 seconds! Lala Vazquez is a black puerto rican who classes herself as latin. It doesnt deter from the fact that she is black! Nicole was adopted by 2 BLACK people, but she is of mixed heritage.

The race debate is getting a bit old in regards to a situation where race is clearly not a factor. All that matter is that Nicole love her Dad and he loves her. Regardless of race.

Thank you Riding, some people in here hate it when others have a different opinion from theirs. I stated her race because some people think she is half black and Lionel’s biological daughter. They also didn’t adopt Nicole until she was 8yrs old. Like I said I love Nicole, she have truly grown since becoming a mother. I think she picked a good choice for the father of her children. Lionel and Linda did a great job of raising Nicole, glad she got rid of Paris as a friend,lmao.
I LOVE Nicole Richie! It doesn’t matter what race she is. I saw her on the Tyra Banks show and Tyra asked her what race she was…and she stated that she is mixed with “lots” of things, but considers herself black. So there you go…from her mouth she is black.
Here is the things there are black puerto ricans, just like there are white puerto ricans, and I do believe Sheila E. identifies with being both black and puerto rican. A lot of Latin countries are a part of the African Diaspora. Besides it doesn’t matter what she is, God loves all.
Sheila E is black and Mexican, not Puerto Rican.
Nicole is 1/2 Caucasian, 1/4 Black, and 1/4 Mexican (according to her fan sites) and according to her she consideres herself to be black. I like this site because it doesn’t exclude anyone because they are “less black” than others.

Nicole isn’t part Puerto rican in any way and that is a fact. If Pete Escovedo is her biological father then that would make her part black and part Mexican. I don’t know what her mom is I just know that Puerto Rican isn’t in the picture at all. LOL!!!
You’re right. I don’t even know where the came from. In an interview that she did she stated that her bio mom is Irish.
I take that back lol. She said that she was African American, Mexican, and Irish. I assumed that her mom was Irish since we know that her bio dad is African American and Mexican.
It’s interesting how baby Harlow skipped a generation and looks like her paternal black grandmother Juanita Gardére. Sheila E and her brother Pete Michael are mixed too, only their dad Pete Escovedo is Mexican. I hope Harlow gets to see her biological grandparents as well, personally I think they allow Harlow to visit them. But Nicole is definitely mixed with Black/Mexican on father’s side; white on mother’s side.

I saw that Tyra episode and she DID say that she was mixed but she said she CONSIDERED herself to just be Black.

If anyone has seen younger pics of her w/out the bleached haair and extensions then you would see that she is indeed part black. She doesn’t look “white” to me now either.
