RUSSELL SIMMONS AND DAUGHTERS FEATURED IN JET AND HAMPTON MAGAZINE
Hip-Hop mogul Russell Simmons is featured on not one, but two magazine covers this month. While Russell graces the cover of Hampton magazine alone, he and his daughters Ming,9, and Aoki,6, are featured on the cover of Jet magazine.
The following highlights are taken from Russell’s interview with Jet magazine:
On what he instills in the girls:
“I tell them that giving is part of your receiving process; life is about giving,” said Simmons.
On mom Kimora Lee Simmons:
“Obviously we have an arrangement, but Kimora is very gracious when it comes to the children,” he shares. “Whenever there is something special, additional days that I want, she is very accommodating.”

They may have their cousins beat cuz Kimora had them up to some business activities early on in one of the shows.
They have their own clothing line as well.

ming is starting to look like kimora
lol kimora would definetly flip i know for sure if she was there but they are gettin so grown and ming is gettin big and s looks like her mom and aoki is gettin real tall i think she should be model.

Aoki is so tall and in the third picture Ming looks exactly like a mini Kamora. They are both really cute girls.

so do i, can’t wait for the pics on her son, their little brother. What’s taking so long?? i’m torn between being glad she is taking the time to bond with her baby and not doing what most celebs normally do (get paid millions for pics as soon as the baby is born) BUT it the same time it’s a month now and the suspense is killin me.
Kimora doesn’t have it like that. Nobody is paying millions of anything for a picture of her baby. She might get low six figures if she’s lucky.
Ming Lee Looks So Much Like Kimora
They mustve dressed themselves cause Miss Kimora Lee wouldn’t be having that at all. But Russ is a great father and should be an example to other men how u can still be in the childrens lives even if it doesn’t work out for the parents

Woah! They have definetly grown a couple inches since the last time we saw them. Look at the size of those feet. They’re going to be giants.
i hate talking about little girls weight gain and etc. but ming really got a lot chubbier from the last time i saw pictures of her on the cover of kids LA magazine and from the pics in OK! magazine at the baby shower for her new baby brother. if she wasn’t with her dad and sister i probably wouldn’t have recognized her. Besides that its nice to see them together and of course kimora will have no problem with giving russell extra days with the girls cause she wants some quiet time with kenzo lee.
I noticed that too while Aoki seemed to have declined in her weight but they’re still adorable little girls.
It is what it is, Truth, I have noticed she has gained a little weight, She is still cute, We still have freedom of speech, It’s nothing wrong with saying that in taste and concern.

Russell is so old to have these young kids(six and nine)…does he have any other older kids?
He is old to be having such young children, I don’t believe he has any older children, I just think he had a late start with getting married and starting a family in his forties.

I like the way they look. The seem more like their ages in these pics with Daddy than other times.
Kimora has those girls in to many activities. I can see her going off on Rusell because they missed a scheduled event. I know an associate who has her 8 year old daughter, In dance, the swim team, tennis lessons, cheerleading girls scouts, and more, That child is tired by the end of the day everyday. She told my daughter she hates all those events she has to attend, but she does it for her Mom. And she don’t want to be in all that stuff, It’s the parents who want them in these activities, Because they wanted to be in them when they were little. Ask Tori Spelling, she just wanted to be a normal child and her Mom use to have her brought to school in a Limo. Ming and Aoki will tell her about it when they are older. They are still cute,and I can’t wait to see a picture of the little Kenzo. Hopeful his Daddy will stand up to Kimora.

Aww, Mingee is gettin’ fat. But boy is she beautiful!!! Sassy little Aoki is growing tall. Kimora is doing a great job with those girls.
Why would u call a child fat? U r a moran its comments like that is what makes girls of today to hav low self esteem and hav trouble being happy with themselves. Children often go through stages of gaining wait as they grow in case u didn’t know.
@ Midnite…I’m not sure if the too many activity thing is a good thing or a bad thing. This lady that goes to my church says she keeps her kids busy so that they have NO time to get into trouble. So everyday they had some new activity (choir rehersal, karate, tai kwan do, homework night etc). They turned out the be pretty rounded kids. I guess to each it’s own but I would do the same. When I got bored as a child I experimented…not always with good stuff either so I applaud her for keeping them busy.
How many teen pregnancies could have been avoided with “busy scheduled” kids….something to think about..JMO
The oldest girls is Kimora’s twin, the other one looks like Russell and she also favors her cousin Angela.
THEY LOOK CUTE AND THE CLOTHES ARE CRAZY BUT STILL CUTE AND YET MING GAINED SOME WEIGHT I LIKE IT ON HER
