Terrence Howard has annoyed me ever since I read something about him claiming to be biracial. His kids barely look biracial, and they are, so how is he going to claim to be anything other than black just because he has light eyes?

    • Caratime2 says:

      you apparently haven’t heard this:

“…Terrence Howard’s version of the events

While promoting the film Crash on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Terrence Howard spoke about his father’s involvement in the “Santa Line Slaying”. It was the first time he publicly spoke of the incident. As the cast of the film discussed racism in American society, Howard gave an emotional account of the altercation which he claimed was racially-motivated. In Terrence Howard’s telling, when he and his mother joined the line Fitzpatrick assumed Tyrone, whose complexion is much lighter than the other Howards, was Caucasian and asked him “Why did you let those niggers cut you?” Howard said that his father told Fitzpatrick that they were his wife and kids and turned around. Terrence claimed that Fitzpatrick then grabbed his father by the throat and pinned him to the wall. He claimed that Fitzpatrick was 6′ 4″ tall while his father stood only 5′ 8″.[4][5]

His father’s incarceration caused the family to move from their suburban home to a housing project in a ghetto…”

    • Gini says:

Are you blind? His kids barely look biracial? Okay, I think YOU need to sit down.

  • Virgie says:

Genetically/biologically many Black Americans are at LEAST biracial…some are triracial. My grandmother refused to accept that she had light skin and eyes. She told me they were dark brown like mine.

    • Nkechi says:

Genetically, no human being is “biracial” or “multiracial”, because DNA-wise, we are all 99.9% the same. We all belong to the same race, the human race! That inhuman, social concept of race is the product of mass deception, ignorance, and bigotry. Indeed, it’s a sick illusion and nothing else. What’s wrong with America? Time to wake up…

      • Posh says:

Thats all nice and fun in lala land or a dream world, but in the real world, there ARE people of all different kind of races and ethnicities. We are all different and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

        • tkop says:

Ethnicity and “race” are two different things! “Race” is a product of your so-called “lala land or dream world”… in real world culture is your choice, but “race” is a fucked up social construct to seperate and discriminate people based on some vague optical attributes, and most of you guys over there really buy into and hold tight to this old eurocentric shit!

People are born and raised with this illusion around “race”. Many people (especially in the US of A) limit themselves to what they can do based on their thinking of “race”. That is a slave mentality - a SICKNESS! All of you that have subscribe to this line of thinking have been fooled by the very people that want you separated to keep them in power over you. There is no such thing as “race” when it comes to humans! We are not animals, and so this concept (race) of animal husbandry and breeding does not belong to us humans!
Genetically speaking, we did all come from one family. We all originated in Africa and at one time we were all dark skinned due to the climate in Africa. It’s all just a little melanin production, and that’s the only difference you can build your sick illusion called “race” on, because more than 99.9% of human DNA sequences are the same in every person - that’s extremely homogenous compared to other species! I guess you are stuck in the past, where people (in the US of A) were categorized via the “brown paper bag test” or the “one drop rule” and segregated into man-made racial categories like “black” and “white”… You are brainwashed if you believe someone can be 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% “black”/”white”, because no human being is real “black” or “white”… not physically, nor on the level of genetics!

But it’s not really your fault though, your ignorance, it is your parents and your pastor and everybody that thinks “race” is important. It is only important socially… “race” is a game played by people who believe they are better than other people because a small variation of skin color. “Black”, “White” or “Asian” are disgusting labels made by evil people! We shouldn’t throw ourselves under a label that was set up to create division/segregation or so called “racism”! That’s old eurocentric propaganda - pure ignorance and discrimination - mental poison! Who is “black” and who isn’t - who is “white” and who isn’t? It leads us to a systematic opression of “minorities” based on optical attributes or differences and to a socially/politically constructed concept to fit people into a classification system - only for the purpose of excluding certain groups! This type of thinking divide people from each other, and that’s exactly what the so called “Elite” want. Divide and conquer at the cost of “minorities”! It makes all the wrong people strong (those who profit by the mistakes of fools). It will also lead to a massive segregation and division between or within the minorities itself… based on skin color for example: “Who is better - the one with the lighter complexion or the one with the darker complexion? Who belongs to us, who is “black” enough and who isn’t?” Please take a look at the devastating state of the so-called “black” communities in the US of A! It’s not their own fault, because they were forced by the system to act or react like that, but anyone who believe, use or accept that man-made concept called “race” is responsible for passing on this mental poison from one generation to the next… I think I made my point clear.

  • YOJo says:

To “Yo”: Your comment leads me to think that you are insinuating that the darker you are, the more black you are. Please restate your opinion! If that is what you meant…you’re so ignorant! What do their features have to do with being biracial? Please redeem yourself!

    • yo says:

No, of course it doesn’t have anything to do with the darker or the lighter you are being an indication of biracial. Altho, yeah, I’d doubt Wesley Snipes was biracial while recognizing that he could have MULTIPLE ethnicities in his ancestry. Biracial means two parents of different races, and is not limited to black or white.

MY COMMENT was meant to state exactly what it does, and that’s that Terrence Howard seems to have a color complex. (I know all about his father being fair.) And, that because he is of a fairer shade, he wanted Hollywood to believe he was mixed in ancestry for whatever reason.

For that, he gets a SIT DOWN award. I don’t care how light or how dark your parents are –I do not, however, like people trying to be something they’re not to “fit in”.

      • Caratime2 says:

you said: “…Biracial means two parents of different races…”

actually, no, it doesn’t. having two parents of a different race simply means you are ‘first generation’ biracial.

you are technically still be bi-/multiracial in later generations, no matter what its common practice to call it. or do you think one or the other of the races simply ‘evaporates’ over time?

yes, i know that in the usa you are ‘called’ black even if you are 99% white and 1% black. but being called that - esp. by someone with a racist (jim crow) not-so-hidden agenda - don’t necessarily make it scientifically so.

as shakespeare famously said, “A rose by any other name would smell as sweet.”

  • Ms.NewYork says:

just left Italy a few days ago.!

  • SuZSoPiSceS says:

Handsome bunch and heyyyyyyy!! I’ll be apart of Terrence’s family if he’s taking vacations in Italy.. He can drop me off in Sicily, Italy and I can look for some relatives. =)

  • nappykat says:

I thought they were divorced. They shole do act like they are a couple.

And Terrance - I don’t think he’s very comfortable being considered ‘black’ and is very much comfortable being considered ‘biracial.’ I have some personal issues with that but that all goes back to the preference of what ones wants to be called and classified as - and that it may be different than what I want to call people and classify them as. But it’s all black to me so whatever.

Terrance best role was what he played ‘The Best Man.’ But he’s got range. I like him as an actor.

Which one is his ex? What is her nationality?

    His ex is italian?
