According to a new report, Paris-Michael Katherine, 11 ,Prince Michael, 12, and Prince Michael II aka Blanket,7, would like to be in the care of their aunt Janet Jackson.
“All three want Janet to read to them at night,” a Jackson family friend tells Ok magazine. “They just melt into her arms when she walks into the house.”
The insider adds, “Janet has completely bonded with those children in the last two weeks. She has been their rock. It’s clear to everyone that they are looking to her for comfort and guidance.”
Although Michael Jackson’s will names his mother, Katherine as the children’s guardian, sources claim that before his untimely death, Michael had intentions of changing his will to make his sister the guardian in case his 79-year-old mother Katherine should be unable to care for his kids.

Stop with the criticizing of Joe Jackson! If Joe wasn’t who he was, you wouldn’t even know Michael jackson from Leroy Jackson! How many fathers do you know that made their children the most famous black children in the world? I can’t hear you; did you say none!? Atlanta really is a great place to raise kids. most of the local ‘celebs’ here go about their business w/o cameras constantly watching their every move. it’s way more down to earth and less superficial than LA. i think it’s a good move for Janet to take the kids if for any reason Katherine is unable to raise them. Janet seems to genuinely care for them and has no other ulterior motives behind it.

I usually don’t comment on this site but some of you are very harsh. Mike’s kids! Not Mikes’s kids. I know that since he died these children have taken a place in my heart. I pray that they are placed in the best situation. None of us knows the Jackson family (correct me if I’m wrong) so we don’t know who is the best fit, who is the sanest. If they aren’t Mike’s biological kids then their his by love. If they are MJ’s biological kids, the magic lives on. I don’t want them to be hurt. Send a prayer and call it a day. I’m tired of all the nonsense speculation.
Lastly, I did read that Jackie said that his mom and Janet have been taking care of the kids the last two weeks. I hope it’s true, they need all the love and support that they can get.

I’m sure they love everyone in the family. I love everyone in my family but I wouldn’t want half of them to raise me lol! Ur right La Toya is not the choice I would make. But then again it’s not really up to me. As for Katherine moving, I don’t think she will leave the family home. It’s the heart of the family, as she is. Plus she’s raising 5 of her other grandchildren there now.
Now that’s a fact. I don’t understand why everyone thinks that they would be better with Janet. Obviously MJ didn’t feel that way because he said his mother or D. Ross. Since he knew his family much better than I, I give him props for his selection. If he was abroad his mother was probably the one who would have visited him. Reports state that after Latoya wrote he book and lied on everybody she asked forgiveness and they took her back into the fold as famlies tend to do and that she had become very close to MJ. Matter of fact, she was living close to his house and was the first to arrive when her father rang her. Remember, Janet is the baby of the nine children and probably a bit spoiled as the babies of the family usually are. I just think that MJ made his decision and we’ll have to see how it is turns out. As reported, the daughter-in-law and her children; the one that was married to Germaine and Randy, is living at the Jackson home and helping Mr. Jackson to care for the children. If they go all the way to ATL, what about the bonding they are enjoying with all the cousins they now have. There will be no children there.

Maybe when MJ named Ross as the alternative incase Mrs. jackson was not able, he looked at how Ross, with all of her publicity, was able to keep her children out of the media and out of the public eye until they were adults. She made certain that they were all educated and able to choose for themselves before they thrust in front of the media. I can see that as one of the reasons, as well as his closeness to Ross. I do, however, feel it would have been advisable to inform Ross that he had done so. However, with all the siblings that MJ has, it does seem that one of them would be the best back up to Mrs. Jackson. I only hope that Rowe is not the one selected. As she herself has stated she has no maternal instict for these children as she did this for MJ and money. I just don’t think that she would have the best interest of the children at heart. And what happens if she get custody and then decides that this is not for her; especially after the money isn’t as much as she hopes. I just don’t like this woman and that is my biased opinion, having never met her.
This sounds like a much better arrangement than the children going to live with the cash womb Debbie Rowe. Debbie Rowe does not love these children. They are only a means of income for her. Janet and Michael were close. I think Janet would make a better guardian; at least they won’t be around Joe.
Out of sheer nosiness, I am dying to know just why she is even being considered, given the publicized statements made by her. It just all seems very strange that a court would entertain any suit filed on her behalf. I mean, by even letting it be know that she was the one who suggested that these children travel with veils and masks was a stupid decision. It only served to draw more attention to the children. there are many other prominent stars who haven’t taken these dramatic modes of protecting their children and they have done just fine. That to me was not a even a protective method for these children. I believe that it was the idea of the dermatologist who pushed her to go after custody of these children. When she has her say about J. Jackson, she is really no better. The two of them to me are six in one hand and half dozen in another. If as reports say, she was given the opportunity to participate in the lives of these children and only visited them a handful of times, that shows that she was true to her statement. They were a gift to Michael (more a sale) and she wanted no participation there. If she was more involved, then why didn’t MJ list her as the alternative. I firmly believe that these children are the result of sperm donor, Klein to surrogate Rowe. The two of them would do anything to insure that the money stayed between the two of them. The only reason that I can figure, from reports, was like the earlier report that stated “the children have no bloodties with the Jacksons. Given this woman’s history, and statements on record, this is would be the only reason that a court would entertain a suit from her. She and that dermatologist used MJ to their fullest, they seemed to care little about him except for his finances and I would not like to see either of them continuously rewarded for their greed. When the court says that they will not separate the children, that is another concern. If she doesn’t really want her own two, what in the world and how would she treat Blanket, who is not hers. MJ, in getting the third child, Blanket, did not use her as the surrogate and he also used a donor, according to Latoya’s report, selected from a catalog. If he (Michael)were the sperm donor why not use the surrogate with his own sperm as is claimed with Rowe, without the surrogate knowing for whom she was carrying the child? From reports, the surrogate is not named, nor was she aware for whom she was carrying the child. There are a lot of questions here for a nosey parker like myself. My take.
Ha-ha nosey parker huh? lol! Okay so to clear some things up (some not all) Apparently Rowe has not filed for custody yet. This means that Katherine will get the children for sure assuming Rowe does not file for it. As far as I’m concerned if she truly wanted her children she would have went to the court the day after MJ passed. But it’s been three weeks and she still hasn’t. Her inaction speaks volumes to me! Anyways so the reason she is still in the running for custody is because according to California laws the mother automatically gets custody if the father passes. She is the mother so she gets first option. The problem for her arises when you factor in the fact that the children do not know her and are closer with their grandmother. This works in the Jackson’s favour. Now she cannot get Blanket. She has no legal claim to him. He does not belong to her in any way. So in order for her to get her children she would have to split the kids up. Courts don’t like this, so another point for camp Jackson. I personally believe that these children do belong to Michael and Rowe and no real facts have materialized stating otherwise, only speculation. Only time will tell I guess because I have a feeling this is one topic people won’t leave alone. I wish they would for the children’s sake. Can you imagine hearing on the news and in the papers that your dad was not your dad when you knew in your heart he was? Hurtful to say the least! I hope this clears up some things for you!
What you are saying is logical; however, when you funnel in money, there are lots of attorneys that deal in finding loopholes in legal documents. So it may not be as clear cut as your explanation; albeit, I hope that it ends up that way. I, as I said before, would have thought that MJ would have tightened the stipulations as he did for the two men who are his executors. In reading, it shows that he paid Rowe 8.5 mil for her parental rights and 170,000.00 per year as her alimony, I suppose. I still believe that she would have left the children along had the dermatologist not encouraged her to take them. I do believe that the two of them were always in cohoots in getting their hooks on MJ’s money. Again, for the children, I hope the law for average people holds up for them.
Poor Blanket is an orphan. It’s great that the Jacksons have taken him and the other two in . Like all other minors, someone has to continue to feed, nourish, educate,shelter,guide and protect them. It would have been so sad if all three of them would have been turned over to the state/CPS.
This is what happens to so many other poor kids who don’t have relatives of means or anyone to take them in. Last Will or not, God Bless the Jacksons for immediately providing love and protection for these helpless children.

Katherine is a good women and has raised many children and been there for her grand kids but she would need help and Janet seems to be the one or the Jackson for that matter that will know how to protect these kids from the greedy, sneaky jackals of the world who would want nothing more to destroy waht michael developed and raised. his legacy, his money and his children need to be prtected and respected. Gerald Posner of THE DAILY BEAST, who has been following and reporting on the case of MJ’s death states that he was given info from two men who were student at Uof P Medical school that Klein was kicked out of that Univ. of Penn residency for selling prescription drugs to student. He claims that he took reports from two men, separately, who told the same story. He states that Klein was kicked out of Med.School on the condition that if he left the University would not make known this charge. He then told students that he was moving to California where he was engaged to be married (Klein has never married) where he continued his education at UCLA where he was Chief Resident of Dermatology in 1975. It shows that he graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Univ. of Penn. Posner has reported that he has sent 2 emails to Klein’s Atty. with no response and calls to his office where he explained in detail what his call concerned and wanted to give him a chance to refute the allegations, but has not yet heard from Klein nor his atty. He states that the Univ.of Penn has also refused to comment on why Klein left the university. Just an update.

I wish the media would do for those children what they did for prince william and harry when princess Di died, leave them alone. Whether Michael is the biological father or not those children knew him as daddy. I have a very soft spot for children and I firmly believe we could all send a message to the media by boycotting anything written on those children. MJ did his best to protect them from the circus and for the children sake we should protect them.
This is true, however, the media never left Michael Jackson or his siblings alone as they grew up in the glare of celebrity, and THEY were celebrities in their own right as kids, not kids of a celebrity like Michael’s kids. Michael Jackson’s kids seem to be more celebrities for how they were conceived more than anything they’ve done.
When their father and aunt Janet were their ages, they were making a living and dealing with the media.
Michael said in an interview once that he had developed “rhinoceros skin” in reaction to all that the media would say about him. The negative would just bounce right off him.
If the kids are raised around Janet, she seems to possess the same show business savvy that Michael had and she can ably school the kids on how to deal with the media throughout their lives.
Michael’s ex, Lisa Marie, could impart to them as the child of a deceased mega star, Elvis, how to cope with life after your Dad dies. She did have Priscilla’s guiding hand, though.
I think that the fact Rowe has decided to rear her ugly head has caused the media bliss, not the public. Had she gone quietly into that goodnight, the children would be settling in with the grandmother and the family and going through the normal grief stage. So we can’t blame the media for doing its job in reporting what Rowe is up to as regards the children. At this point they are in a pending state instead of a restful and curative place. Again, put the blame where it belongs on this woman. The will was read, MJ’s request were made known and she is the unsettling factor in all of this. The media would have nothing to write were it not for Rowe.
The cause of death is not going to go away until something is settled as the cause. People are curious and so the media will continue to report. That, I don’t know how much the children are getting; they do know that their father is gone and quite suddenly. From mere curiosity they may wonder what happened? That, no one can controll.
That’s kind of an apples and oranges situation there. Those children were royalty and the government headed by the figureheads of the grandparents could exert influence there.

Lord knows he destroyed the hell out of his children lives. Michael kids are bright, very intelligent, respectful and know 3-4 different languages. I don’t think there is anything wrong with Katherine. Anyways Joe no longer lives with her. They only see each other occasionally. They both stated this in a pre-recorded interview that aired 2 nights ago.
What is wrong with Katherine is that she is a typical jehovah’s witness…no matter what it’s like on the inside, just keep smiling and act like nothing is wrong. See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil…at least in public. Behind closed door, raise hell. I feel sorry for those kids if they have to grow up in that cult. They’ll be just as wacky as the rest of ‘em.
That’s funny because my best friend is a witness so was my grandmother and a few relatives (not me however) and they didn’t put up with anything. If there was a problem the whole congregation had to hear about it and the person in question had to apologise. If it could not be resolved the person would be disfellowshipped and that meant not even speaking to them until they return to the fold. The JW church disfellowshipped Michael after thriller apparently. Anyways the point is I don’t think she stands idly by because of her religion I just think she feels enough dirty laundry has been aired to the public and some things need to be dealt with in private. Also I was watching an interview 2 nights ago and they aired a clip from the reality show they were supposed to be working on. Katherine said that they no longer live together and she sees him only sometimes. But they still do appear to be friends. Which is nice I think.
It’s so sad because no one can replace MJ to these children.
Very Smart/Wise kids and they are old enough to decide who they want to stay with I like their decision and please keep all three together.

Janet said a few years back that her and her father were starting to get closer. She said he had changed, she wasn’t sure if it was due to the fact that he was getting older or what but things were better between them.
Since MJ knew all this life that his mother was Jehovah Witness, it didn’t seem to cause a problem for his decision to want her to care for his children. She seems to have been the one person that he felt he could rely on and that has to be taken into consideration. While Janet seems a loving aunt, the others may well be but Janet is in the public eye and so we hear about her. Whatever works for the children is good but the children can only have so much say as they are minors. It is said that the court will take their wishes into consideration but that’s only if this thing gets to a court hearing. With all that’s said and done, and opinions given by us all; I do think that we have in common that we hope the best for these children who have lost their only parent.
This makes the most sense. Janet is young enough and seems to be the logical choice. The children are old enough to give their view of who they would rather reside with. I hope Rowe looses big time in court and gets nothing.
What about the nanny who worked for Michael for 20 years? She is ‘technically’ the only ‘mother’ those children have known. She has been the one constant female in their lives. None of his siblings were close to him and Katherine allowed Joe Jackson to abuse Michael when he was a child….if she could not control him then, can she control him now? It is very infortunate what is happeing to these children and that Michael did not have the foresight to properly update his will. However, despite all, Debbie Rowe should definitely not be an option.
Would you let your nanny have your kid if something happened to you? I think that’s the answer to your statement.
However you do not know for sure if Janet wants to be saddled with the responsibility of raising these children. I believe that the Jackson family will come up with a sensible plan for raising these kids and they might not need our input with this important decision.
Being on the outside looking in, I think the kids should live with Janet and be cared for by the nanny while she works.

If Janet wanted kids she would be a parent by now. Janet has lived in Atl for over 4 years she is only now getting to know the kids. She is working on Tyler Perry ’s movie now. She has broken up with Jermaine. The kids should be with Rebbie a full time guardian. Grace the nanny is with them, she and Rebbie took them to Kingdom Hall Wed I saw the pics on the Today Show.
God will see these children through all of their pain and He will place them with the best person. I truly feel like His Hand Of Protection is on these children.
I agree with you Kim. Rebbie and her husband have been together since high school and are even grandparents themselves, now. They seem to have done well in raising their children into responsible adults.
Just the fact that there is a husband and a wife in this relationship would be a bonus in rearing the kids in a stable environment.Also, the 3 kids could still have access to cousins , aunts and uncles and feel as though they’re really part of a nuclear and extended family.
I hope Katherine has already revised her own Will in case something should happen to her in the near future so the kids won’t be uprooted again.
Regular every day people are faced with these same dilemmas every day. The Jacksons have all been around the block a few times and surely know how to take care of business.
Mrs. Jackson wants to contest the two men that MJ left in charge of his estate. She has run up against a NO CONTEST CLAUSE, which states “IF ANYONE CONTESTS THE APPOINTMENT, THEY SHALL BE DISINHERITED”. These are the kinds of clauses that I would have thought he would have had concerning the guardianship of the children. I guess maybe he figured Rowe would not have wanted the children since she had said so before. I just don’t understand why the clause would have been there for these two men and not for the most precious estate, his children.

Katherine’s will, at this point, will not matter. The change would have to come with MJ’s will. He has already written that should she (his mother)not be able to care for the children or if something happens to his mother, Diana Ross is named as the guardian of the children. Therefore, they would have to deal with MJ’s will not Katherine’s.

I can only imagine how horrible it is that Blanket, Paris and Michael, Jr. could possibly be accessing the Internet, Googling their own names, and finding so many citations/references to them basically being “test tube” babies.
I hope none of the children are emotionally scarred or traumatized from all of the public speculation in the media and otherwise, surrounding their individual conceptions.
But how could any human not be upset knowing this about themselves, unless they are in total denial?
Especially little Blanket, who has no human female that has stepped forward to claim him and say that she is/was his biological or surrogate mother. Did Michael tell him his mother is DEAD? I wonder.
The “surrogate” could be deceased though, which would truly make Blanket an orphan.
There is usually the presumption as human beings/mammals that even if we don’t really know our paternity (Mama’s baby, Daddy’s maybe) :), we know for sure who our mothers are.
Blanket can’t say that definitively about his Mom or Dad, though I believe he partially derived from Michael Jackson’s sperm. There has to be legal documentation somewhere that identifies the female body that Blanket was born from.
The surrogate provides a service for the male that wants to be a dad. She is not considered a mother. Nor does she want to be considered a mom for the child or she wouldn’t be a surrogate. Men who donate are kept anonymous so why shouldn’t the women have that same privilege. As well Blanket most likely did not feel weird about his parentage as this is the only life he has known therefore, it would not seem odd to him or his siblings. In fact I think Blanket is better off. He knows who he belongs to…the Jackson’s. The other two belong to them as well but may be taken away. Plus not everyone knows who there mother is. I work in a Daycare and there are loads of single fathers that come in all the time. The children are well adjusted because they are great dads and the children aren’t used to any other life. I find the problems arise when the child knew the parent and than the parent left but when they didn’t know the parent they were okay.
That is a great explanation. It has been said though that if the children go with Rowe that Blanket would also go with her, and she has stated that she will take Blanket. The court, the reports say, have stated that the children will not be separated. I am so hoping that Mrs.Jackson will get to keep the children. Maybe we will know something today if they don’t cancel the court hearing again.
It was cancelled…to august 3rd this time. I don’t see how she could get Blanket even if she wanted to. They were discussing this topic with a lawyer on CNN and he said she has no rights to him. So unless Katherine says sure take him (and really what are the odds of that)I don’t see him living with Rowe. Which is a major point for team Jackson! A court is not going to want to see these children separated. But I guess all we can really do is wait and see. Life never seems to unfold the way we’ve planned it.

Love is a funny thing to describe. It’s so easy to feel and yet so slippery to talk about. It’s like a bar of soap in the bathtub, you have it in your hand until you hold on too tight. Some people spend their lives looking for love outside themselves. They think they have to grasp it in order to have it. But love slips away like that wet bar of soap. has anyone heard anything about the custody hearing that was to be held today. I hear that another is scheduled for Aug. 3, but heard nothing about the one today.
It’s the same hearing. They’ve just postponed it again. They are trying to settle everything out of court.
I could see it. I hope in the end that they are all happy and doing well.

Now they are reporting that the dermatologist, Klein, is claiming that he is the biological father of the two older children. After all his denying on Larry King, the report claims that he wants the children. I always felt that he was the reason that Rowe was after the children as I truly believe that she doesn’t want the children. I think this thing is about to get real low down and dirty to the horror of these poor children. Reports claim that the daughter-in=law of Mrs. Jackson is caring for the children since she lives there in the home with her children. This is the daughter-in-law who was married to Germaine and Randy. Hoping there is no truth to the report that Klein is going after custody of these children. That would really cause a big mess for them.
On the Larry King show tonight, after interviewing Joe Jackson, Debbie Rowe’s friend and previous attorney stated that Michael and Debbie had sex to conceive their children and that Debbie Rowe told her so. She said she knows these are Michael’s children.
I don’t believe everything I see on television, but what motive would this woman have to lie?
What motive to any of them have to lie. There are friends who have come forward to say that because of his shyness, MJ remained a virgin. Rowe’s other friend said that she received an email saying that Rowe said she really didn’t want the children, but she felt like she should ask for them. As previously, many of us are in disagreement about the paternity of these children. I simply do not believe that MJ is biologically linked to these children. I do believe that he is the father in the sense that he loved and cared for them. like the poster above, because he was married to Rowe, they are legally his children, I would think. I don’t care how many people look at those children and probe to find things about them that look like Michael. I have always had Diana Ross’s eyes but she is in no way is biologically linked to me. That’s my stance until proved differently. With money involved, I think that more about those children than the public has a right to know will be made public if they continue with the custody thing. I hope that it will end before this happens for the sake of the children. like the one of the dermatologist. He is now saying that he is the father. According to reports from Pressley, she never saw Michael nude. Why do they lie? because the ones talking are white and that’s what they do, especially for MONEY.

Well, I guess I’ll just wait and see about this new young man that the tabloids is reporting as MJ son. I wonder, as much as he loves his three children, why he never spoke of this son since they claimed the family knew about the son and that he lived at Neverland. It seems the boy will take a dna to show that he is MJ’s son. But if the family knew about it all the time, why would he need a DNA. It seems they would have done that earlier. What do you guys think?

While I don’t condone any of the doctors who enabled MJ with his medical needs; it does bother me that it seems the last doctor seems to be targeted to be the patsy in this whole deal. It really bothers me that once they can get enough stuff on him, the rest will be dismissed. But we shall see.
I feel the same. He (doctor) should not have left the scene the way he did and maybe he wouldn’t be under such scrutiny. It makes him seem shady and unprofessional.
Michael Jackson dying as unexpectedly as he did without having better tied up issues around custody of his kids, etc., I think shows that someone or something contributed to his death. I don’t believe it was just cardiac arrest or natural causes.
This whole aftermath is just awful. I hope the Jackson family survive intact despite all of this.
I wouldn’t wish what they are having to endure on my worse enemy.
I hope the 3 kids are being shielded from the pain and ugliness of it all.
