VIDEO: SORRY BCK READERS…NAS NAMED HIS SON KNIGHT
Rapper Nas celebrated the birth of his baby boy with a performance yesterday in Queensbridge, NY. During the performance, the Queens rapper confirmed that his estranged wife did in fact give birth yesterday(July 21). This is what the rapper said during his performance:
“My son’s name is Knight. That’s right i named the young don, Knight.” Nas also added, “Don’t believe nothing in the media.”

Wasn’t allowed in the hospital but was allowed to name the baby! I know there is some truth to these stories but can we get it together before it’s posted & people start commenting on it?

Honey, just cause he named his baby doesn’t mean that what was reported wasn’t true. How did you come to that conclusion? Obviously Nas and Kelis have been having problems-they are getting a divorce. As for whether or not any of the stuff is true..am pretty sure a big percentage is true. Did you watch the video? He gave a shout-out to everyone except the mother of his child. Things that make you go hmm….

Knight Jones, interesting name. I hope Kelis had a good delivery and the baby is healthy. As far as the drama goes well I’m tired of commenting on it, I wish them the best for themselves and the baby. FYI can’t wait to see the pics

I don’t think it is any of our concern rather he was at the hospital or not. Celebrities aren’t allowed any privacy at all. Nothing is off limits like the birth of their children… I don’t see how they do it.

On TMZ, it states this:
After a performance in NY last night — where he told fans he was hammered off champagne — Nas tried to roll by Kelis’ hospital room around 1 AM this morning. But we’re told Nas was turned away because he was too wasted.
Kelis, the singer behind that “Milkshake” song, is still in the hospital — 24 hours into her labor!! We’re told she still has not given birth to their son, Knight.
But there’s still a major issue at hand — sources close to the situation tell TMZ the bill for Kelis’ hospital stay has not yet been paid — and because the soon-to-be-exes are still fighting over child support and baby expenses, it’s unclear if Nas will fork over the cash for the cost of the baby.

Knight…i really like it. Its out there…As is the trend with celeb baby names. But I think its unique and strong. powerful. It was also very thoughtful to us the “kn” kelis-nas combo. Good job Jones!
