KELIS IS “MADLY IN LOVE”… WITH HER LITTLE GUY

“Its 6am and I’m awake and completely unannoyed. I feel great. My baby is happy and healthy and I am no longer a host for a force stronger than me,” wrote singer Kelis just three days after giving birth to her first-born son Knight Jones.
Although she has been a mother for less than a week, Kelis says that she is “in awe of the whole process” of being a mom.
“Its breath taking. I had no reverence for pregnant women or really mothers before my experience. Not that I didn’t care but it truly is something unrelatable until it becomes you. It’s life, larger than life. I’m in awe of the whole process. And of course now like every other mother, madly in love with this little guy. I don’t know when or if I will ever sleep normally again but for now I’m just happy to not miss anything while sleeping again.”
Indeed the singer is not ready to miss a moment of being with Knight, so much so that she doesn’t want to share her baby boy with anyone, not even the baby nurse she hired.
“So I hired a baby nurse, for 24hr help. Everyone told me I needed one, which I get a new baby is constant work…. So I have this very nice woman here on her first day for work. But I am feeling like I’m under surveillance and I really don’t wanna share my perfect little 3 day Old marshmallow with anyone. I can’t say that after a week or two of no sleep I will be in desperate need of some relief ,but right now its just too soon. Everything he does entertains me lol n I don’t mind any of it. I think he smells like pie n I never wanna share pie! Lol. Yeah I think I’m gonna send the nice lady home n try again with her next week.”

Awww! The joys of motherhood. Nothing like it. Kelis said, “So I hired a baby nurse, for 24hr help. Everyone told me I needed one, which I get a new baby is constant work….” I had to snicker at this comment because women all the over the world don’t always have the luxury of having a full time nurse (unless something is medically wrong and they can afford it), nanny, helper, what have you. We just take care of our babies alone, or, if blessed, have a wonderful man there to help with the duties as well. No, Kelis, a 24 hour nurse, nanny, helper, etc. is what the wealthy do. Everyday mommies don’t always have that luxury. I’m not mad at her though. If you can afford it and it works for you, more power to you.

I remember those times with my girl, Tamara. Sitting up ALL NIGHT, and then hearing birds chirping outside and realizing I had not slept at all. She’s seven now and we laugh about those times. I tell her how much I miss that, even though I was looney from lack of sleep. Those were some of the best moments of my life.

I bet he is beautiful, can’t wait for the pics. I know how she feel, I luv newborns and infants, so so sweet and precious. I hope Kelis let Nas know the feeling of being with his little one. Not nice to be selfish, what goes around comes around. Because the minute he gets another woman pregnant and spend more time with that child, it’s gonna be a problem. Like I said what goes around comes around.

OMG, I remember that totally in love babylove feeling. There is nothing like it. This perfect little bundle of joy that you created and you just feel so full of love and wonder and awe. You want to eat them with your eyes and inhale them with your nose. It’s just the most beautiful, heartbreaking thing. I wish her nothing but happiness with her new little man. Don’t share your pie Kelis! Not yet, anyway. lol

These star kill me. Everyone sadi I would need a nurse… [BS]. evryday women are having babies and taking care of them 24/7 by themselves. Give me a break. Stars just spen their money on unnecessary stuff. Theyget on my nerves. Half of them are not real parents anyway, we can thank the baby nurses and nannies for raising them!!!

THE PROBLEM WITH KELIS IS THAT SHE THOUGHT SHE WAS GOING TO HAVE NAS TO HERSELF BUT WAS FLABERGASTED WHEN SHE FOUND OUT DIFFRENTLY. GIRLS, WHEN YOU GET WITH A MAN DO NOT REVOLVE YOUR WHOLE LIFE AROUND HIM. KEEP WHO YOU ARE AND NOT LIVE IN A FANTASY WORLD ABOUT A MAN. JUST CONSIDERED THE HAPPY TIME YOU HAVE WITH HIM A BLESSING. WHEN THE TIME WITH HIM MOVES TOWARD THE NOT SO HAPPY TIME, YOU WILL STILL HAVE YOURSELF AND NOT TOO MUCH DISAPPOINTMENT. BY THE WAY, WHERE IS KELIS’S MOTHER AND OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS? SHE COULD SAVE SOME OF HER DOE IF SHE GATHERED THEM ALL UP TO HELP TAKE SOME OF THE LOAD OFF OF HER. A BABY IS A FULL TIME LABOROUS JOB. I WOULD HATE TO DO IT ALONE.
