ZAHARA AND SISTER SHILOH GET A TREAT
Actress Angelina Jolie treated daughters Shiloh, 3, and Zahara, 4, to a shopping spree at a Toys R Us in Burbank, California, on Tuesday(July 28th). Looks like the girls deserved their treats; an X17 insider says that Shiloh and Zahara are very polite kids:
“Shiloh and Zahara are extremely polite and well-behaved, and Angelina is really natural and down to earth. They bought tons of toys and looked around for about an hour before checking out. They bought stuff for girls and boys.”

Shiloh is a cutie! Such a tomboy though. And I hate to be the one to have to reiterate this but: WITH ALL THE MONEY YOU AND BRAD HAVE ANGELINA, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD IF YOU DON’T WANT TO LEARN HOW TO DO THE GIRLS DAMN HAIR PAY SOMEONE TO DO IT!!!!!! How about we try for oneday to not make any comments about hair BCK readers! It is clear that Angelina didn’t have time to put conditioner in the child’s hair. If you look at pics that BCK posted from last time,http://www.blackcelebkids.com/2009/07/07/is-that-a-smile-zahara/, you will see that Zahara’s hair is conditioned and looks beautiful.
Let’s focus how cute they are and how apparently they are well-behaved and nurtured kids.

Shiloh’s ponytail is far from neat. There are pieces escaping all over the place. If Zahara’s hair were in such a ponytail, you would still have something to say. There is nothing wrong with her having her hair loose. Lose your fear of the fro. Death to braids, twists and ponytails and barrettes.

Hair Hair Hair, that all everyone ever talks about on this site.Look I like her hair I think its find. I have pic of myself at that age and my hair looked almost the same, why because my mom said I hate braids, and ponytalse and I would cry scream and fight her to not get my hair done. so the only time she made me get my hair done was for big event, other than that she let my hair be free. As long as it clean and greased I think it is ok. She a kid who is she trying to impress, why does she need to be prefect. Let her be young and care free. when she reaches a certin age she will demand what she wants for her elf and that will be fine. but chill… I hate that black people think that life is a fashion show and everyone must be judge including children. Look at how white cele dress their kids just to hang-out and play or to just walk around they are never done up, their hair is alway alittle off why because they are kids. it only us who have to be so caught up on looks and I hate it.

huh, sorry, but she needs to at least comb that hair.. it looks like she hasn’t combed it in days…why wouldn’t Angie have the time to do Zahara’s hair, when Shiloh’s hair looks well combed and conditioned?… seriously, they need to get someone to do that little girl’s hair.. that’s a very basic way of teaching a little girl how to take care of herself… not cool angie, not cool… you have enough money to have people teach you how to handle her hair…

Babygirl Z’s hair will be brought up in every post showing her pictures. The same goes for Henry and his hair as well as Diddy with the twins and people talking about his relationship with Chance, MJ’s kids and questioning paternity or claiming that the kids are biologically his…it’s all very much predictable at this point. The only thing you can do is not read others comments especially when you know what will be posted. There’s no other escape lol.

I’m so sick of the hair comments. Ethiopian model Liya Kebede has her daughters hair the same way as Zahara’s all the time and I never hear anyone complain about her needing to do something about it. Both girls look gorgeous and it looks like Shiloh is quite the quirky kid.

forget about ignoring hair comments! i’m sure ppl are giving this little girl a pass b/c her adoptive parents are white. you know good and hell well if you saw this little girl with some black parents, you would think now why can’t these parents do this child’s hair before they leave the house. no excuse. Madonna found someone to do Mercy’s hair, so they should do the same. realize your black child does not have the same hair as your other children. what may swing for Shiloh may not always work for Zahara. hell, she even found time to put a ponytail in Shiloh’s head. was it too much for her to try and touch Zahara’s? this looks like she just threw some clothes on her and left the house. nary a comb or brush has that head seen. i don’t care if your child doesn’t like you touching their hair. they are not the boss and do not run the show. honestly, it’s a poor reflection on the parents. comin out the house lookin like who did it and why. she is way too cute to be lookin so disheveled all the time. and by no means am i picking apart the child. this is more a comment on the parent’s upkeep of their ethnic child’s hair…or lack thereof.

Give me a break!! No one is saying she needs to relax Zahara’s hair. Just COMB IT! Natural is fine, unkempt is not. All of you “nautral hair advocates” must certainly know that not being combed or conditioned is not healty. Barring an emergency, there is NEVER an excuse for a parent leaving the house without combing their child’s hair…never.

It appears that Halle combs Nahla’s hair. For the one millionth time, it is not about hating natural hair. It’s about hating unkempt hair. There is a HUGE difference. Natural does not mean messy and uncared for. They were out shopping. It’s not like it was an emergency trip to pick up diapers or milk. I hated to get my hair combed when I was little, but I had to deal with it because my mother was not going to have me out of the house looking a mess. And no, my hair was not permed when I was a child. It was natural, but it was taken care of. No one cares about the texture of Zahara’s hair, it is obviously NOT COMBED. Not combing your child’s hair is not okay, it’s lax.

OK OK here is the 411. we all know that zahara is a cute lil girl but that doesnt excuse the fact that her hair is never well maintained in the public. n u guys know if that was ur child u wouldnt have her hair like that so dont even try it. this girl come from a very special country n im pretty sure if she was at home her hair would be better kept there than it those here. angelina needs a special hair dresser for her. some braids wont hurt or lil bubbles. im tired of ppl taken this hair thing too far. THE CHILD NEED HER HAIR DONE N THATS THE FACT. its starts young. imagine her in 5 more yrs n her hair is stil the same if it doesnt fall out by then because it look to me its not even being cared for. i think if you going to adopt a child from a whole different culture u learn how to best take care of them the right way.

It’s not a matter of black people not being satisfied or focusing too much on hair.Its self respect,have goodmorale,value,and be taught all the important things in life but self respect is one of them she needs to be taught how to take care of herself and to practice good hygiene and having her hair done especially in public is a part of that.

If you don’t want white people adopting Black kids then you should adopt them yourselves . Zahara is multilingual and loved. Blacks spend $1 billion a year on haircare yet 1 in 4 live in poverty, 2/3 of black kids are born out of wedlock etc. You people need to get your priorities straight. zee looks beautiful, i’ve stopped with the hair comments now, (more or less, cos henry needs a cut lol) but these kids that have been adopted, we should jus be happy that they have been given a good life, an anyway u can see her hair texture is really soft, she has nice hair maybe she jus don’t like it being done, my friends child pulls out anything u put in her hair, she always has done so it looks a mess but her mum don’t mind… who am i to judge if the childs happy?

There are many pics on this site where her is in 2 plaits go to the archives I find it interesting that people rarely comment in Shiloh’s har this only the second time its been in a messy ponytail .Its usually not combed but I guess thats ok since its blonde and straight. Her hair is not dry if you look at close up shots like the People magazine twins pics her hair is not nappy its soft meduim curls

This is not about natural, relaxed, good, or bad hair.
It does not matter that she has nice natural curls her hair looks a mess. She only gets away with it because she is Angie’s daughter. How many of you left the house with your hair like that. It didn’t matter whether I liked getting my hair done or not, my mother made sure it was combed. I just had to cry and deal with it.
As for Heidi….please she should be ashamed of herself. When you have a child with a black man, expect the child’s hair to be slightly more difficult then you are used to. Deal with it, don’t ignore it

Ummm…for those who didn’t see Zahara when she first arrived in this country…her hair was dry and didn’t have the curls you see before you now.. Her hair is conditioned.. Trust me I mostly do childrens hair and the tight hair bows, perms, fake hair and barrettes we put in our kids hair just scalp them bald. I see a lot of kids I wanna do drive-by detangle and brush on. But these kids are not them..
Angelina doesn’t dress them very girlie, if she did we would complain their too sexy to be little girls. And still these kids have nothing on some of the others.. (Klum and such)

Well I am sorry but Angelina is going to have to be addressed regarding Shiloh’s hair. I am an african american woman and believe me she will be teased by other little girls if her hair is not managed properly. End result another child with low self esteem which can produce all kinds of problems later. It is important Angelina for little black girls to look in the mirror and their hair is done and they see their beauty.

I’m sorry, but I see all yall complaining about Zahara’s hair, and yes, she needs to do something with it, but imho Shiloh’s hair looks terrible too. And the way she dresses both of them is a shame. When I see their boys Maddox and Pax, they always look neat; haircuts and cute little boy clothes. But the girls always look so thrown together, and I have not seen Shiloh dressed like a girl since she was about a year old…

get the heck over it! im black just like zahara and my mom use to keep my hair that way when i was little! whats worng with keeping it out. her hair is curly coiled, same is mine. white people can keep it out but black pple cant? hair is hair! we all know that if curly hair was in & white people hair was curly and if it were the opposite and our hair was straight we would be doing every thing in our power to be making it curly! get over it, shes a little 4 years old girl i dont see ANYTHING wrong with it! all black people want to do this thing about fashion and perms,ect. thats exactly why the whites out doing better then us. pick up a book and educate yourselfs! you think white people tinking about your negative little comment? yeah right! btw im 13!
