BREAKING NEWS: KATHERINE JACKSON GETS CUSTODY

Michael Jackson’s mother ,Katherine Jackson, will retain custody of his three children Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Prince II a.k.a Blanket, 7 . According to reports released today, Debbie Rowe, the mother of Paris and Prince I, will get visitation, but no extra money.
Katherine’s attorney, Londell McMillan, said on CBS’ The Early Show Thursday: “It’s an agreement, an agreement for the best interests of the children. This is not a money deal. This is not about money.”
As a core part of the agreement, Debbie will begin to have a relationship with her kids under supervised visits with a child Psychologist.
Mcmillian also added that “… all of the parties are resolved. There is no situation better for these children than for them to be raised and reared in the loving care of Mrs. Katherine Jackson.”
I’m glad, for the sake of the children, that this has been resolved. Now, I wish the media would allow these children to grow up without invasion of their privacy. Leave these kids alone and allow them to enjoy their childhood.

I still wonder why she is retaining her parental rights. I just don’t trust this woman. She has proven to be a sleezy gold digger and I just think she has a hidden agenda. But as the children age, they will know, children can usually detect a fake.
Unfortunately, she’ll always have parental rights under California law. I’m from California, and believe me even women who are crack addicted have parental rights and laws to back them.
I mean why would she want to retain them. She never wanted these children. Is it because the judge is making her like he did before?

I think we can safely rule her wanting visitations with the kids because she “loves” them out of the equation.

A REAL mother could not have been stopped from being seated next to her children to comfort them at a funeral or memorial for their deceased beloved Dad and her ex hubby, who she always bragged was her best friend even after they divorced.
Sadly, no. We never hear her mention “love” when it comes to discussion of the kids…only money and parental rights.
Debbie Rowe is as apathetic about “her” kids as Joe is about his son’s death. But both are not apathetic when it comes to receiving money and publicity.
That’s Good because Debbie didn’t want them kids anyway….but I still think one of the sisters should have gotten custody because Katherine is Way to old to be trying to raise some kids
The report says that Rebbie will be helping her mother. She is the one who could have had a career and chose to be a family person. She seems to have done a great job with her own children and she and her husband are sufficiently well off financially. She is stable, while the others are busy pursuing their careers. So that, I think is good that Rebbie will be the back up.

i am SOOOO happy that they gave her custody. I dont think Debbie should even get visitation though. She sold her children! Any woman that would do that to her own babies should be as far away from them as possible.

When you are given 8.4 million and ceded your parental rights, you meant to sell the children. Each year she has received 750,000.00 as alimony. She took them back when MJ had his legal problems. That time the judge would not allow her to cede her parental rights. The judge had to stop it, not her; she wanted him to take them. She said she did not want children and that they were a gift to MJ. So then why take the money except the alimony. She rarely visited those children and they only knew her as Miss Debbie, a friend of the family. Now all of a sudden, she has developed this maternal side since June 25. She can go sell crazy somewhere else. I’m not buying it. She and that dermatologist have a hidden agenda and you just wait and see. SHE SOLD THOSE CHILDREN with FORETHOUGHT AND MALICE. I can’t even believe the court gave her visitation, knowing her history. She’s trying to save them from J. Jackson so that she can make the money off them. She has no room to talk about J.Jackson cause she is not better. They are peas in a pod. You notice she didn’t give up those paternal rights like she was willing to do prior. The Jacksons are going to take care of her for the rest of her life and she gonna have plenty of money for her 13 dogs and 46 horses on her ranch. But, I was always taught, when you dig a pit for your brother, dig two, cause you are going to fall in one of them. We’ll see.
And given her history, she should never have been allowed visitation. I wholeheartedly agree with you. they could know that she is their mother and when they reached the age of 18 they could have gone to her if they so desired. She didn’t want them to know that she was their mother when MJ was alive. Now she has such a maternal instict since her “cash-cow” has died. I’m glad MJ had a better instict for music than he did for relationships. She would have never been wealthy from a white man, not even that dermatologist who used her to benefit them both. I feel certain he got his share with both their ugly sleezy selves.

Rowe wants and will get a psychologist who will visit the children and help them adjust to her being in their lives on a meaningful basis.

Apparently they’ve been living separate lives for a number of years - she in California and he in Las Vegas. Of course, knowing how Joe likes to make himself seem important, he’ll say he’ll be raising them along with Katherine even if he’s not. Look how he jumped on the ‘Omar is an MJ Kid’ bandwagon, when even the guy himself said denied this.

I thought that Katherine gave up on Joe back when he was such a Romeo and was bringing women all into the home. I think that was something else that got to MJ. But you know how Black folk are. Why, she didn’t want them to get to know her when MJ was alive. Why is it so important for them to get to know her now; I mean as far as visitations are concerned. She went to see them a few times and wanted them to know her only as Miss Debbie. Why all of sudden now do they need to know her? What are they 12 and 11? How, all of a sudden do you develop maternal instincts since June 25th. If you had none then, you don’t acquire them overnight. The family knows who she is and if they need her for transfusions or something like that they know where to find her.

What do you mean poor kids Grandma’s old what if she dies? The children are in the best place possible for them to be. As we all know and MJ’s death reminded us death can happen at any age. Debbie Rowe has never been a mother to those children. Contrary to what you have stated the children did not know who she was. When she did have visitation before, on the rare occasion that she actually showed up for it that is, the children knew her as Miss Debbie. They did not know she was their mother. The old saying that a bad relationship with a parent is better than none at all is ludacris! She willingly gave them up stating that she did not want them, she only had them for Michael. Now she’s all like oh my babies, I want to be in their life? BS! There is something more to it! Maternal instincts do not have a light switch that can be turned off and on at will. The feeling is either there or not and she has proven time and time again that the feeling is not there. After all the courts did grant her visitation rights before and she only used them a handful of time, preferring the company of her dogs, horses and oh right Michael’s MONEY!
I love this statement that you posted, Toya. I agree, and Katherine is not to old to be their custodian. There are so many children being raised by grandparents out of necessity across this country that it has pretty much become a norm.
If parents are addicts, abusive, die or otherwise abdicate their parental roles, kids are blessed and fortunate if a responsible adult or two can step up.
In the Jackson kids case, there will never be a problem of anyone wanting to claim them because where they go, that’s where the money goes.
Other less fortunate kids in America who have no one to step up to the plate if a parent passes away, either wind up in foster care or on the streets going from pillar to post fending for themselves.
The kids are still in their formative years and I hope they mature into adulthood as responsible, productive citizens who will capably continue and honor their famous father’s legacy…especially his legacy of love and world peace.

Even several of the news shows on MSNBC are wanting to know why she suddenly is interested in these children. they are citing the same reasons that we all have. She has waited 11 and almost 13 years to suddenly develop maternal instincts. Please. this old chick was left no money in that will and she’s looking for a way to suck some from those children. Given her history, as I said before, her wishes should never have been entertained. The media is just as suspicious of her motive as I am.
I see what you’re saying, Khirsh! On all of the cable networks focused on the Jackson story, the commentators are very opinionated in discussing Debbie Rowe and the custody issue.
Commentators use descriptive words as “baby seller” when alluding to Debbie Rowe. And these are primarily White female commentators.
You know, it is what it is..Debbie got over when she married Michael. As you’ve mentioned in your previous postings that’s the advantage of marrying a man and not just sleeping with him and having a baby.
The same applies here, even though Michael was MEGA famous. There will always be baby Mama drama until Debbie Rowe dies when it comes to Paris and Michael, Jr.
The bottom line is that under the California state law where the two married and Michael, Jr. and Paris were born, they were recognized as a legal family and all the rights and privileges extended with that.
This is why Katherine Jackson was FORCED to deal with Debbie legally.

The news said “while the lawyers say that no money changed hands, that doesn’t mean that the Jackson’s haven’t promise her money by taking care of her living expenses, or giving her a month allowance. I’m so happy that Katherine got custody. The kids will have lots of cousins to grow up with and lots of aunties and uncles to love them. And I really hope that the media will leave them alone, but that might be too much to hope for.

They know now. It’s too bad they had to find out all of this stuff this way when their father isn’t there to explain things to them.
I am so glad that Mrs.Jackson has those children and the Rebbie will be her back up. I think they are going to love their new life. The reports say that they are enjoying the play with all of their cousins. They should help them along and they will be going to the private school that Tito’s children attended. I think they are going to like living a less secreted life. Children need to be with other children. No matter how much you love them, they need that socialization that others their own ages can bring. I think it will also be a joy for Mrs. Jackson. It will keep her involved. I just feel like they are going to be quite happy.

I couldn’t agree more. I think this is the best thing for the children. I believe being around their family especially all their cousins can only be beneficial and therapeutic for them. Although I think they could’ve done without seeing Rowe. Well once she starts getting her allowance again she will probably stop going to the visitations as per her usual custom.
On the Headline News channel, on the Jane Velez Mitchell show, 6pm PST, an attorney stated that even though no new money came out of the custody deal between Katherine Jackson and Debbie Rowe, an agreement was made that Debbie will continue to receive “spousal support” from Michael’s estate.
Other talking heads (attorneys) on the show argued that spousal support usually ceases upon the death of whichever spouse is providing the support.
The main point made was that Debbie Rowe is again willing to relinquish some parental rights and grant custody to Katherine as long as she is guaranteed continued spousal support from her late ex hubby’s estate. In other words, as long as she continues to get paid the kids can be raised by anyone who wants them.
She can call it spousal support, but it is still bartering her kids for money. What a mercenary person she is. Disgusting!
But Michael chose to be with someone with such low morals and he showered her with money that he just as easily could have showered onto someone of his own race.

i don’t care what the courts say. Though i do feel that the kids should remain with their grandmother, i do not think debbie rowe should get visitation. Why now, after so many years, when MJ is dead. Why not after MJ and her split. She didnt want anything to do with them than, so now she should not get the opportunity. I agree with you. If now she feels this overwhelming desire to be a part of their lives, she could have left it just as it was. She allowed them to call her Miss Debbie before and she could have just acted like a friend that came around to visit them every now and then like before. If there was a surrogate, Michael Jackson’s camp is saying that the woman will never come forward. This was stated on CNN. Do you think Blanket will have the right to know and demand to know?
The only news I know about Blanket is what Latoya said, so you know that’s all iffy. But she said that Michael chose a sperm donor from the catalog list that they use and that the mother was chosen and she did not know for whom she was carrying the child. If this is true, he should have done this for the first two. Once they are compensated for their work, then they never know who the parents are therefore can’t go back for more money which is the ideal thing to do. Maybe after he got trapped by Rowe and this dermatologist he decided to do it that way. But I told you Anonymous, this woman is a real trick. MJ was giving her 170,000.00 per year for alimony. Either they give her that money or she is going to take those children away from them, which would put the money in her hands. I would have called her bluff on it. There seems to be some bending of the law in the case of Debbie Rowe.
Michael must have truly loved Debbie Rowe because he did not seem to mind paying, and paying and paying her.
Even Michael’s mom’s attorneys have come to find this to be true because look at how they have settled so quickly on Debbie Rowe’s conditions enabling the Grandma to keep the kids.
Debbie is an old school trick, but Michael being willing to make her legal by marrying her I guess makes it all good!

I think that she may have been dragging him around with a chain because of the children and a threat to take them or interfer in their lives. Could have been a lot of reasons or like you said, could have been love. What a mess. My thing is, she came after those children as soon as they said something about MJ’s will. As soon as they said the children and his mother. It seems the deal is because the payments to her would end she had to strike a deal quickly. Remember the reports said that they would continue the payments to her that he was making. Not fighting for the kids and no money tangibly changing hands would be the continuation of the payments. I do believe that Mrs. Jackson may have stepped into a sink. I am hoping that everything will work out for her and those children. I personally think that she has a deep love for them and they will be happy with the family around them.
Blanket is the most blessed of the children. I would rather not have a mother than to find out that Debbie Rowe is my mother. That’s a fate worse than death. I am glad he only has the Jacksons, they will be really good to him and I believe they will fill any void he may feel. He should have been as specific about those children as he was about his executors. I guess me forgot to tie that knot really tight.

I saw a video taken at Neverland with a portrait of Michael, Debbie Paris And Prince on the wall Paris was an infant. These are bright kids they now that Debbie gave birth to them and she was married to Michael. They probably think of her like adopted kids think of their birth mother or as a surrogate.
You’re right, and at the hearing the two kids were probly allowed to give the court input as to where they wish to live and they obviously stated a preference to live with their late Dad’s mother and family as opposed to living with their biological Mom.
It’s interesting that none of Debbie Rowe’s relatives support her in the case with her kids.At least publicly we never hear of it.

Now with regards to surrogacy correct me if I’m wrong don’t surrogates get money for their services? Then again he was married to her we don’t know if this was done naturally or not..why is she considerd a surrogate? When Paris Katherine was conceived they were still married. Maybe you misread most of the statements. Many of us have talked about the money that she was paid and that now she will be paid more concerning the children. I don’t remember anyone talking negatively about a surrogate. Just talking negatively about her because she seems to be such a money grubber. I certainly don’t find a problem with surrogacy.

If the custody has been decided, why is Klein, the dermatologist insisting that he is pertinent to the case and needs to be heard. He wasn’t allowed in the courtroom but he is now with his lawyers and insisting that he has to be heard. The news is suggesting that there is more of this story yet to come out.
Khrish, on Fox news over the weekend, Kimberly Guilfoyle, attorney and news show host, stated that along with Dr. Murray and other Michael Jackson doctors, Dr. Klein AND Debbie Rowe as Klein’s previous office assistant, are being investigated for culpability having to do with Michael Jackson’s prescription drug use ultimately contributing to his untimely demise.
You mentioned in one of your previous blogs that you believed the two of them, Rowe and Klein, were in collusion when it came to how Rowe met MJ in the first place.
It’s appearing that she may have supplied him prescription drugs years ago and got him addicted, too.

Just found out that Klein was in court because he felt that he should have some say in the care and education of the children. Like, who the #@@@@@does he think he is. I guess he feels if they should use him for that he could get some money. He was really upset when the judge told him he would not be allowed to speak. And I was glad to hear that it may be months before Rowe gets to visit with those children. By then they should be well indoctrinated into the Jackson family. Those two make me want to puke. I hope that they both fall in the hole they dug for MJ.
The report did say that the children did deposit and they all want to stay with their grandmother. That should make them very happy. I didn’t know that Mrs.Jackson had never even met Rowe.

This morning’s news is also questioning why Klein is making ready to have all these legalities ready for court on Sept 1. They are claiming that it can’t possibly be money because he has such a lucrative practise. That, to me, is a joke. They never feel that they have enough money. The report today said that MJ never intended to marry Rowe. He only wanted her to be a surrogate. So why did he end up with her as his wife?
I know Khrish, I know. Debbie Rowe and Klein were shady characters in Michael and the children’s lives.
Investigators on various levels are digging more. People who seem to not understand where you’re coming from, Khrish, at this site are superficial and can only comprehend the surface of the Michael Jackson saga.

Just because Debbie Rowe is known as “mother”, it does not mean she can’t be a crook or a cheat.
You know how nosy I am. So I’m wondering why when MJ only considered her for a surrogate, what caused him to decide to marry her. If he had kept it at the surrogate state she would have no parental rights now. And the idea that Klein intends to still partion the courts to have a say in day to day care and education matters. Who does he think he is. They need to let Joe loose on him. Now there’s a excellent way to put Joe to work. LOL
face it that man is not the father of those kids. even if you don’t think those are mj’s kids. the fact is prince and paris are both darker than klein and rowe. have you seen klein. he looks like a pink red neck.prince and paris have olive skin. whoever the father is had some kind of color in them( and no i don’t mean jewish, thats not a race anyway)
KELLY I answered that question when you asked me above. No. I am not trying to make that man the father of those children. I don’t like that man. My interest in him is the hold he seems to have on Rowe. He was the one who suggested she go after those children. I do think that she and he were partners in crime with the whole thing in getting this deal worked do that MJ married Rowe and some other shady stuff. This man, while he was quite brilliant, was asked to leave his first University while he was in his residency because he was selling prescription drug to students. He was told if he left they would press no charges. Then he went to Ca. and finished his residency there and became head of Dermatology. I am aware that he is Jewish, it that’s what you were referencing and I know that his father is a Rabbi. If I were going to suggest anything about Judism as you say, I would have referred to the children as “semetic” or middle eastern. I do know the difference. Now please reframe from telling me what I want because you can’t possibly know what I want.
And to further validate you, Khrish, Dr. Klein’s name has been added along with Dr. Murray, et al, being investigated by the police and DEA. That’s a fact.
Debbie Rowe’s name has been associated with Klein in some aspect of the investigation.
Well maybe they can find enough evidence to shut his fat mouth. He makes me sick. Like he is the authority on what these children need on a day to day basis and what they need educationally. People like him work my nerves.
I agree, Khrish. And what has he done for them towards their education and daily living? Have you heard of anything? I heard that Rowe wants them to be raised Catholic and not Jehovah’s Witness.

Klein’s last live in mate was a man…I’m not homphobic, but all Klein could add to the kids lives, in my opinion is more headaches
She didn’t worry about that when MJ was alive. She didn’t even know if they had religious affiliation. If it was that important to her, why wasn’t it it the contract with MJ. He really messed up when he married her. Should have just had those babies and let her go on her merry way. I truly believe that Klein got her to know that she wouldn’t reap as much financially if she were just the surrogate and that’s why they had to convince MJ to marry her. My lord, with all the women who would have married MJ what other reason would he have married her. At least that’s what I think.

Rowe has been given visitation though, but it will be with a psycologist. And the pyscologist will decide when she will see them for the first time. According to the report the children, two oldest, were allowed to present partitions to live with their grandmother. I just don’t understand why Rowe chose this time to expose herself to them as their mother. After all those years when she visited now and again, she didn’t find it relevant that the know her as “mother”. She could have still visited the children and remain “Miss Debbie” at least for a while longer. There must have been something in MJ contract with her about being know to them as their mother.
Don’t you find it amazing that Elizabeth Taylor was so close to MJ that she introduced him to Klein. He gave her 1 mil. in diamond to have a say about him during his trial. I certainly hope I never have friends like her.
