Forget all the analysis. You know when someone can dance it is fluid and natural. The effort is nil. The girl has natural talent. I believe that she is going to be big in a big way. She has a unique selling point as she has blonde hair which is associated typically with white supremacy and all that Arian crap However, she dances like a typical African….Paradoxical or what?

You even can dance or not…it is not a race thing, it is a stereotype..

I’m now 19 and experiencing being a dad. I must say although it feels good it’s still hard. I knew it wouldn’t be easy but to be honest, the hard part is having to balance time. My daughter is great and makes managing her never dreadful. -Teen dad

  • Virgie August 1, 2009 at 6:11 pm

I posted this clip on my Facebook page a while ago and I didn’t even have to know the origin of the song to recognize that the little blond girl was doing an African dance with soca mixed in. Since she is a child I am not judging her according to her technique (lol), nor am I judging her according she American standards (the French often look to us for inspiration…Lil Wayne and booty videos, anyone?). She is copying the original music video which is also on Youtube.com.

  • Toni August 1, 2009 at 3:36 pm

go ahead lil mama! she’s killing it ;)

  • Katherine August 1, 2009 at 2:59 pm

    That little girl can dance!!!

  • Coryn August 1, 2009 at 2:38 pm

Actually, the song is from a congolese born singer who lives in paris! Not ivory coast!

  • africanlady09 August 1, 2009 at 1:58 pm

i’m west african. this is not how we do it at all. she needs a lot on work it. shes just a child but i don’t won’t people thinkin this really how we put it down the dance floor cuz we’re more on point than that. you tube “soukous dancers” or “coupe decale” if you think i’m bluffin. god bless the lil girl tho for bringin attention to west african dance

  • Tee August 1, 2009 at 9:34 am

Go Go Get it Get it! LOL that was awesome she made me want to go out and take a afr.dance class:) It’s so important to expose children to different cultures.

  • hanaboo August 1, 2009 at 7:00 am

joe jackson please shut yo mouth!
do u see how he describes a spanking? a lil tap on the hand! is that what all his kids was complaining about then? i think not

  • luvvieboo August 1, 2009 at 6:59 am

Lori it’s called “african dancing”, that requires movement of the body. I don’t think she’s moving any growner than those kids that do the “latin dances”. Do you see the costumes they be in and the way they move? I hate it. This little girl can dance her butt off, I don’t care what anyone says and she does it quite well. Hell I can’t even move like that and I’m black, than again all black peeps don’t have rhytme, lmao.

    • Lori August 14, 2009 at 8:25 pm

As opposed to what? Any other kind of dancing? I thought all dancing required “movement of the body” by definition. ;-)

  • J.Mae August 1, 2009 at 2:24 am

Wow Get it girl!!!! Some of those moves are kinda “old” for her….but that baby dances better than me and I am a grown woman.

  • SuZSoPiSceS August 1, 2009 at 1:58 am

Wow go little girl! Like the beat of the song too..

  • bck reader August 1, 2009 at 1:38 am

saw this video a couple of weeks ago, but couldn’t figure out where the little girl was from, so thanks for all the background info. like many of you say, she’s really good. got some natural rhythm.

as for the types of moves she’s doing, probably by American standard some of them can be seen as age inappropriate. but in many African countries the dances are typical of the local culture, and so old and young alike can perform them and it not be viewed as a bad thing. just one of those culture differences.

  • nakidzz3 August 1, 2009 at 1:27 am

YOU BETTER WORK IT!! Between her and the music, I couldn’t sit still… LOL

  • tight2def August 1, 2009 at 1:13 am

Tiny and Toya need to be ashamed having their children singing about boys that young. Mess. And their attire ain’t no better.

  • Jessica July 31, 2009 at 11:42 pm

That was really good and I like the music. But I’m going to have to agree with Lori. She’s a little young to be ‘lookin’ back at it’. If you get what I’m saying.

  • Natahlee July 31, 2009 at 9:06 pm

i like aint nobodi by the omg girls they killed it and i love this video with the little girl she was getting it

  • Suitepuma July 31, 2009 at 8:20 pm

    LOL

    natural rhythm

  • Lori July 31, 2009 at 8:11 pm

She can dance well but there are some moves that are a little too “old” for her to do right now at this age. She’s cute as she can be! I hope she keeps up the dancework. And like ladytroublesome said, “Who said white people didn’t have any rhythm?” {vbeg} ;-)

  • memasniece July 31, 2009 at 7:15 pm

    lol

  • hanaboo July 31, 2009 at 6:28 pm

on another note i just listened to the omg girls song and i actually liked it but i must say the lyrics were a bit grown i wouldn’t like my 10 yr old singing about boys like that, they sounded good tho

  • hanaboo July 31, 2009 at 6:19 pm

wow she got some moves.. how old is she?

  • Kishakisha July 31, 2009 at 6:10 pm

    Really amazing,
I saw this like 3 weeks ago and i was oh so in shock.
A little french girl dancing to African music. Her family also has other videos of her dancing on youtube as well. She really does african dancing in all of them.

  • camie July 31, 2009 at 6:00 pm

  • ladytroublesome July 31, 2009 at 5:46 pm

Ok, who said white people didn’t have any rhythm?

  • PoohBear July 31, 2009 at 5:36 pm

That little girl is amazing! She’s a very good dancer.
