Ten-year old child actor Kwesi Boakye is set to star in Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself, hitting theaters September 11th, 2009. In the film, Kwesi acts alongside Academy Award nominee, Taraji P. Henson (2008 Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.), and hip-hop queen, Mary J. Blige. The movie, which is based off of a Tyler Perry screenplay, tells the story of “pistol packing” Madea, played by Tyler Perry, who finds her house raided by three kids, including Manny played by Kwesi.
In August 2009, Kwesi will start filming for Men Of A Certain Age, a new TNT series.

I can’t wait for this movie to hit theaters, I neva miss any of Tyler’s movies. Sounds funny already cause Madea and kids don’t mix.

Seems like we are on the defensive when no one said anything bad about the young man. All of the comments have been positive. Why even insinuate that someone will call him ugly because of his color?? Maybe you’re the one with the color problem if that is all you see. He is a very handsome little boy.

At first I thought the child was supposed to be Taraji’s son, then I was like, “Oh wow he looks nothing like her!” Then I actually read the thing.
The movie sounds good. I’ve seen all of Tyler P.’s movies and I love all of them! This one sounds good too.

Black people (or brown whatever) are talked about and targeted from the time they are born to time they DIE. GET OVER IT WORLD…everyone don’t have light/white skin.
