Ten-year old child actor Kwesi Boakye is set to star in Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself, hitting theaters September 11th, 2009. In the film, Kwesi acts alongside Academy Award nominee, Taraji P. Henson (2008 Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.), and hip-hop queen, Mary J. Blige. The movie, which is based off of a Tyler Perry screenplay, tells the story of “pistol packing” Madea, played by Tyler Perry, who finds her house raided by three kids, including Manny played by Kwesi.

In August 2009, Kwesi will start filming for Men Of  A Certain Age, a new TNT series.

    Go to Tyler Perry.com OMG they have a new preview of the movie…LOL Madea is a mess..OMG even when shes trying not to be funny she gets me…LOL I know that seen when the little boy is going to get me…ill be prepared though with my tissue and everything.

    At first I thought the child was supposed to be Taraji’s son, then I was like, “Oh wow he looks nothing like her!” Then I actually read the thing. :D

    The movie sounds good. I’ve seen all of Tyler P.’s movies and I love all of them! This one sounds good too.
