Singer Jennifer Hudson and her fiance, David Otunga, have welcomed a baby boy. Sources report that Jennifer gave birth to a baby boy named David Daniel Otunga, Jr. late yesterday evening. David J.r. weighed in at seven pounds, fourteen ounces.
Throughout her pregnancy, Jennifer never denied or confirmed reports of her pregnancy. Showbiz411 concludes that Jennifer kept mum on her pregnancy because “part of [it] was privacy, some of it was superstition, but most of it had to do with the terrible tragedy she and her family underwent last October. The murders of her mother, brother, and nephew were beyond comprehension.”
Jennifer and her baby boy are said to be doing well.

God works in mysterious way that is why you must believe. Her mom, brother, and nephew were taken away in a vicious manner for no reason at all and this caused Jennifer great pain.
In hopes of bringing her happiness Jennifer and David’s bond became stronger and God has given her an Angel to focus on…

Wow! I am so happy for Jen and David. I know Jen knew no pain like losing her dear loved ones, but now she’s blessed with the joy of bringing new life into the world. I know David Jr. will be loved beyond measure.

Alright David she had your baby, now when are you going to marry her! Jennifer don’t settle for less. If he loves her like he says he does then go ahead and merry her and make it official!
i mean i don’t know about trust or not. its not up to us to trust. That’s up to Jennifer and obviously she does. But I will say that it seems every thing happened so fast with them . And them it seems that the terrible tragedy she experienced sped up the process a bit. Tough times can bring people closer together. Just wonder if once everything settles they will actually be the people who they thought each other were.

I was under the impression that they were engaged before the terrible tragedy in her life. And Lord knows it was a great tragedy. When she became pregnant, what changed their minds about going ahead with the wedding?

I concur completely–why she gave him a chance after he wanted to be w/ the likes of NY (even for tv purposes) is beyond me. However, NY wasn’t lying about who got the looks in that family when his people came to visit….I just hope JHud took a look at at least 2 generations of that side of the family to see what her kid might be working with.

why would someone who is “supposed to be” a lawyer turn around and start auditioning with the WWE to be a wrestler!?!?!? something ain’t right about that. you would think he would want to do something more stable to support his family! and i know this is not a rumor - i am a big fan of WWE and this was reported by them online.
If one Wrestler can become a governor of some state, then a lawyer can become a wrestler if that’s what he wants to do. I don’t see what’s so suspect about that. To a lawyer, wrestling might look like more fun.
