Reality star Kendra Wilkinson and her husband, NFL player Hank Baskett, received exciting news on Wednesday(July 12,2009). The couple will soon be parents of a baby boy!

“Hank and I are having a baby boy!”, Kendra wrote on her blog yesterday after a visit to her OBGYN. “When the doctor told me I was just like OH MY GOD, I’m going to have a son!!!!! Today is certainly always going to be one of the most memorable days of my life!”

She continued, “Whether this little guy is a jock or not, he’s definitely going to be a mama’s boy. And, there’s no doubt he’s gonna be a handsome one…just look at his dad!”

The couple, whose baby is due on December 25th, “can’t wait to meet [their] son”.

“Christmas Day and dirty diapers can’t come soon enough,” gushed Kendra at the end of her post.

Clap!Clap!Clap! Congratulations. What a beautiful couple. I’m so glad these two people found each other. I am all for black-on-black love, but if a brother would rather be with a white girl, then by all means. Thank you for taking them off our hands!

  • Annabele says:

Please, how is he a celebrity? I am sick of these black men white women appearing on this site. Who is she?

    • Annabele says:

Sorry for this hateful comment. There is no excuse for such hate. I am repentant. In God’s eyes we are all His children. God bless you all.

      • Pisces says:

You should not feel that you have to apologize for expressing how you feel. That’s what this site encourages…different points of view. I happen to agree with you, but let’s give props where its do…Kendra made him put a ring on it before getting pregnant.

No matter how people feel about marriage, it’s a respected institution that has survived for centuries in the world.

For the naysayers, marriage is not bad, it’s the people in a marriage that make it good or bad.

  • Barlow's aching says:

They’re going to have a beautiful little baby boy…

  • britbabe says:

    wow americans are racist!

    • Pisces says:

I don’t believe Americans are any more racist than British (our forefathers, many of them) or Chinese people or any other people for that matter.

Brits were masters of the slave trade.

      • britbabe says:

yeah and how many years ago was the slave trade? So many ppl on this site are bitter and anti-white, I rarely come across this sort of thing in the UK. It’s like move on, its 2009! Just saying!

        • Pisces says:

You must not get out very often in the UK, then, if you don’t find racism there. Or maybe you mingle only with your own race, whatever that may be.

If you’re British, I just want to tell you that you come across as a nasty, snide lout when you write here, no matter what your race or nationality is.

Oh, and the fact that Britain began world wide slave trade is a big deal in American history. Because of slavery and White masters/mistresses raping their slaves, that’s why there exist even today so many mulattoes in the U.S. like the one featured in the picture here.

        • Toya1 says:

And how do you know it’s not a Brit posting on the site? They don’t show our nationalities so unless someone has told you where they are from it’s better not to just assume!

          • britbabe says:

It is obvious from the way they word sentences and the slang they use, I’m not thick ya know

    • lookingatpics says:

I’m not going to let someone living in one of the most racist societies ever in history get away with calling Americans racist!

British slave trade shaped the United States. It’s as relevant today as to who Americans are as it was when Brits came to this continent and raped the resources and took this country from it’s Native Americans.

You can’t dismiss an American history filled with racism, particularly against Blacks if you are going to accuse Americans of being racist.

You don’t come across as a racist in your modern writing here. Just nasty and un-informed.

      • britbabe says:

As I said how many years ago was the slave trade? Come on now if you watch most American shows race is always brought into it, I’m just saying that I never hear anyone talk about race over here, jeez calm down! Unless the shows exaggerate, but I doubt it, I mean look at the KKK, where are they from?

        • Pisces says:

Sorry for my harshness. May I respectfully suggest that instead of watching American television shows, you may want to google British/ American history of the Slave trade.

Or perhaps, pick up an American history book about slavery in the US and/or racism in America, past and present.

          Good Day!

          • britbabe says:

I’m not from mainland Britain I’m from Northern Ireland and there are hardly any people of different races here. Maybe in England it’s more racist because there are so many people of different races there, which is weird because you’d think they would all get used to eachother by now. I dunno but seriously I studied all about slavery in school and stuff so I know about it, them old dudes were evil men! Cant we all just get along?! ;D

          • Pisces says:

Thank you britbabe for taking the time to write again. It really is interesting to hear global perceptions of America. I guess like everywhere in the world, there are people more tolerant of others and those less tolerant…and not just because of racial differences.

I can see how based on mass media you’d think that Americans are very racist. But that’s not the case. When walking about in the city, people tend to acknowledge each other no matter what race, and continue on their merry ways.

It’s not perfect but at least we’re not rioting over race in the streets these days!

I hope you a peaceful and prosperous life.

  • BC3 says:

Hank is half white by the way. I love them as a couple!!!!! Go Hank and Kendra!

  • mixmami35 says:

Hank plays for the Philadelphia Eagles, thats how he is famous.
And she is a playboy bunny. And why does it matter what race they are as long as they are happy. And maybe he has the same taste in women as his father does.

  • jmaemae says:

Why are black/white (or any other mixed race couplings) still an issue? Some people need to get with the times and stop dwelling in the past. If people continue to segregate, judge, and discriminate then you’re just creating a more and more racist society. Minorities want equality, but we’re not all willing to integrate. Let’s evolve, progress, and continue to love one another no matter what we look like.

    Peace.

  • Tiiz says:

This site is “racial” it’s called “BLACK” celebrity kids. Did you not think the topic of race would be brought up?

Did you not think if 70% of the children featured here are biracial someone wouldn’t notice.

@Britbabe…America is STILL polarized by race and race issues b/c ‘legal’ racism ended less than 50 years. Parents who couldn’t go into establishments b/c of their skin color are still around. The aftermath of racism is evident everywhere…all you have to do is look through BCK to figure that out! 400 years can’t be erased overnight!

I am a racist. (You all are, that’s why you have visited this site). I DO NOT practice racism. Because I am proBlack does NOT mean that I’m anti anything else or hate anyone else. The definition of racist needs to be understood or revised. I support health and prosperity for all people and Especially my BLACK people. I do feel that the preference for a majority of our young black males to choose to date outside of their race has bigger implications than just doing what they want.

  • lovelyme says:

for the dumb person who said she can’t do mixed hair your stupid, because the baby will be 75% white 25% black, which means the hair will more than likely resemble caucasin hair.
