FAMILY TIME WITH LISA WU HARTWELL, ED, AND LITTLE EJ

Reality star Lisa Wu Hartwell and her husband, NFL player Ed Hartwell, spent some quality time with their son Ej at the Bronner Brothers hair show last weekend. Though recent rumors claim that Ed and Lisa were evicted from their Georgia home a few months ago, the couple say that they were ” not evicted” and that they are “doing great”. Lisa is also the mother of two other sons with singer Keith Sweat.

because Keith Sweat didn’t want his kids on TV. He took her through the ringer on that. They were on one season but I haven’t seen them since. Maybe he wants to proctect their identity.
I’m sorry, ain’t that much protection in the world with that oldest boy looking just like his wide nose behind? We know those are your kids Keith (lol).
Seriously, don’t know what they went through but KS does seem to be very serious about the boys not being apart of the show (in the spot light). I know that’s hard on her because it does come off as if she only has one child.
KS seems to be a very involved and concerned father. I know he said he didn’t want them on that show because he didn’t know what would happen on the set. After watching that show, I must say he made the right decision. The women act like a bunch of teenagers with money. All that loudness, cursing,fending and proving. It’s ridiculous. I would hate to be any place they are because they really become embarrasing. I certainly wish they had found a better way to showcase rich, Black females. Great decision Keith.

because keith sweat is coming out with a show of his own and the boys are going to be on his show this fall. Lisa and keith did not seperate to good so bringing the boys on her show would be a preach of contract for keith sweat’s show. I got all this from sista-to-sista magazine.

I can not believe that was the little baby that was on the the show first season. He is getting big really quickly, if I didn’t no any better I would have thouht he was 4 years old just by looking at these pics.

keith sweat wouldnt sign the release form to let the boys be on the show. they were NEVER shown on the show.

*sigh* THE (un)REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA is the show I love to hate.
They are a bunch of gossiping, over exposed,famous-for-nothing women who each week make wealthy African Americans look silly to mass audiences. Sadly enough, I watch more than I should.
I will say that Lisa is the most leveled headed out of the cast, very beautiful and career driven. I hope she is smart with her money b/c in the past she has filed bankruptcy.
All of these shows that I have watched: HOUSEWIVES OF NEW JERSEY AND ATLANTA seem to be the wives of subculture. They all seem like people who have a lot of money and no class nor any idea of how to develop class. If you are backward and aquire money, you are just backward with money. I know that I would not want to be any place that they are. They are truly embarassing. I have seen nothing that any of them have done to help themselves or anyone else except shop, eat, drink and party. That’s probably why they have so much time for gossip and fights. And that Nene does nothing but create gossip and fight. Only person I have seen on the set that would have made me watch was Michael Knight and he made a brief appearance and got the heck out. Thank goodness PROJECT RUNWAY is back on the air in the same competing time slot.
The MSNBC news was talking about these shows this morning and what negative models for Black American women that they bring to television. It is suggested and I agree, that it seems Jerry Springer and Morey Povitch got together to present the worse possible images of Black American women to the media. The one thing that they stated and with which I agree; the ratings are over the roof for these negative images of Black American women. HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA, TOYA AND TINY, AND the Mother and sister of Keisha Cole. I agree, there must be some better images to display about us as African American women than what we are given to watch here. The bad thing is that many of us can’t wait to watch ourselves in such negative mirrors. I must say that I agree with this survey. But we will never get these positive images if we keep upping the ratings on trash like this. BET knows what to do to make their money.

I remember ks used to beg his tail off in his songs. He sung so desperately. I almost forgot about his having been a singer. Some of his music I admired. How long were he and this woman married? I never knew who he was with or ever married at all. If he did abuse his ex-wife that explains that he is probably a guy who wants to be in total control, that means no back talk, no staying out past the time he wants you home, and oh by the way, not too much or any wearing of makeup.
