KEKE PALMER REVEALS HER FASHION LINE, MAD STYLE BY TRUE JACKSON VP
15-year-old Keke Palmer is the latest teen star to launch her own fashion line. On Monday August 17th, Keke introduced her clothing line, Mad Style by True Jackson VP, in a fashion show fit for a tween.

Inspired by Nickelodeon’s “True Jackson, VP”, which stars Keke Palmer, “Mad Style By True Jackson VP” features affordable long sleeved Henley t-shirts, fashion leggings with novelty buttons, jumper dresses with removable straps, Mary Jane shoes, ballet flats, and sneakers.
All of Mad Style’s clothing will retail for $14 or less and will be sold exclusively at Walmart.

I love the fact that KeKe Palmer has her own clothing line but, it saddens me that her face is not on any of the clothes. KeKe is a beautiful young lady. So I have to ask the question, “why isn’t her face on the clothes?” I wonder if they decided not to put her face on the clothes because they felt white girls wouldn’t wear it. I feel that the absence of her face will hurt her sales, because most people won’t even know that it’s her clothing line. This reminds me of the part in The Five Heartbeats where the band all rushed to see their album cover and what they found was a picture of a white man. The following quote is what one of the band members says after realizing what is going on. “Why do we always have to cross over to them? You don’t see them crossing over to us.” Think about it…………
