I think this is not a good idea, because the show is already some what racist so I know if I saw it I would be offended…Lisa’s hair already made me a lil upset. I say Bad idea!!!!

    I cannot say I see a problem.

Should the show change the way all of the speak & behave, then I would have an issue. But changing skin color, not so much.

The Simpsons show shows a child being disrespectful to his parents & his father as a moron. That in itself makes the show ridiculous & I never watched it, not once.

Now if the Simpsons started having black skin & they were changed to white, this forum would have a different tone.

These are suppose to be the Simpsons from Angola. The people there will see the Simposn’s for the first time and the creators wanted to change them to depict more of their culture (I’m not sure if this is an accurate depiction as I don’t know much about the people from Angola). I don’t think they meant any harm.

I’d actually love to watch it to see what other characters like Flanders, Mill House (was that his name?), and Mrs. Krabobble (I know I screwed that name up lol) look like.

This just show them as a black family no problem and I think Bart look cool with the fade cut i bet he got the tape in the back haha. But the dog sitting on a black person couch aint even jumping off….LOL..hahahaha

  • Jessica August 23, 2009 at 2:55 am

I think it looks cool. The cartoon nowshow them as a white family and this one as a black family. But the dog would get his a** whipped at my house sitting on my couch!LOL

  • MS.NYTX August 23, 2009 at 12:42 am

that is true..back in like 92, 93 there was a black bart simpson..and he was on tshirts..

  • LisaLisa August 22, 2009 at 5:52 pm

Well at least they have a picture of the motherland behind them…

    • bck reader August 23, 2009 at 2:20 am

that in and of itself is a stereotype as well. people think of Africa and they think of wild animals roaming all over the place. when in fact, if you talk to someone from Africa, they will tell you that they see animals in the zoo, just like we do. not running free in their backyard lol!

  • jada-lane August 22, 2009 at 5:01 pm

lol the painting of the elefant is tooo funny but I think its harmless besides Lisa and Maggie’s hair. LOL hahahahah funny though but bart looks so cute. One correction about the dog, black people will never let a dirty dog on any furniture well not in my house lol

  • Ms.NewYork August 22, 2009 at 1:05 am

    What are pickaninnies .?

  • Jazlynn August 21, 2009 at 11:44 pm

I don’t think its stereotypical, when me and my brothers were younger we had tshirts with black Simpsons. Now, if homer was absent, Marge had a weave, Maggie and Lisa had extensions, and bart had his pants down below his rear, that would be stereotypical.

    • Teri August 22, 2009 at 3:32 pm

Jazlynn, the braids on top of Lisa and Maggie’s hair are stereotypical. See my comment to Ms. New York.

    • Teri August 22, 2009 at 3:34 pm

Correction>>>Not Alfalfa, but Buckwheat on The Little Rascals.

  • Devinizzmom August 21, 2009 at 11:20 pm

    cute the

  • krazychika August 21, 2009 at 9:37 pm

i don’t like this, did they have to be so stereotypical

  • Teri August 21, 2009 at 6:25 pm

I don’t like the fact that they have Lisa and Maggie depicted as Lil pickaninnies.

  • dree August 21, 2009 at 5:20 pm

I don’t see the problem, besides Lisa and Maggie’s Alfalfa hair.

    • Ms.NewYork August 21, 2009 at 9:24 pm

Its all a problem, if they make this a show it will be so stupid .!

  • Darcey August 21, 2009 at 4:37 pm

    Dead Wrong!!!!
