Singer Whitney Houston is covering the latest issue of EBONY magazine. In the issue, Whitney talks about her 16-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina:
“She and I are not only mother and daughter, but we’re good friends. I want her to trust me, to be able to trust in me, to know that I’m not going nowhere. If she knows that I’m there for her, she can depend on me. I’m the dependable one; she can depend on her mommy” (p. 90, Ebony magazine).

One of my favorite singers to date has finally made a comeback. Girl, you’re looking marvelous! I am so proud of her and wish her the best success ever. Both mommy and daughter are looking great.

Love the album! There is a humbleness that comes across on several of the tracks. Her music before was great, but their was an arrogance to it. In which, I’m sure came from having such an amazing voice and the ability to perform with little effort. With the new music it’s more about the message and conveying her trials.
The big voice isn’t there but the music is still good!!

Whitney looks beautiful. She has one of the greatest voices of this time. It will be great to hear her again. If she goes on tour, I plan to catch at least one show. Now, this is what I call a testimony!
