AMEN, Chilli. My mother was a single mom and I can never recall her traipsing men in and out of our house - ever. I respect her for that.
Yeah, My Mother was the same way, If she dated I never saw the men come in and out of our home. And she protected my sisters and me from all of her male friends. I can’t believe it when I read and see these stories of women who go to work and leave their children with men who are not the Father and they abuse the hell out of these kids. That’s and some kill them. I would never marry a guy until my child was grown and out the house taking care of self. That’s just how I roll, may not be for everyone. Now not all men, There are some GREAT STEP MOTHERS AND FATHERS OUT THERE.
Amen, Nanette. Some women put men above their children. Many don’t even get to know the man before he’s taken up a place in her home under her children. I just saw a video of a Detroit man that was caught on tape in a store beating and kicking this woman’s 18 month old son. She had only been dating him a little while. Girl, I would’ve gone plumb loco. We must be careful whom we allow around our children.

I absolutely agree. My son does not know every man I date. But I know some of his friends know their mom’s friends as “uncle”. I have seven brothers, my son does not need any make believe uncles.
Maybe its just me but I am not a fan of reality tv. I have no interest in watching reality tv. I have yet to watch an episode of any of these so called reality shows out dere. My actual life is my reality.
I’m with you. I wish they would bring back good old sitcoms and dramas for entertainment after a hard day of work. I’m ready for entertainment, news and sports when I watch TV. I can say, however, that I am getting a lot more time for reading.
Sherley, it isn’t just you. I hate them too. I don’t ever watch them because I’m too busy dealing with my own life. I’ve never been a celebrity follower, i.e. reality shows or via Twitter. I don’t know them so why waste my time. To each his/her own though.
We need less reality shows and more sitcoms like The Game. I would rather see more shows like that then these reality shows.
I love the game! Bring back the sitcoms like Living Single and Out All Night (throw back)!!
I hate the fact that everytime you turn on the TV there is a reality show for this or that, like real life isn’t hard enough, I certainly don’t want to watch and see somebody’s else life story all the darn time.

I agree with Chili and i also believe that parents shouldn’t bring every guy or girl that they date around their children until they know it’s a committed relationship. Many men and women go from man to man and woman to woman and that’s not a good thing to do when u have children. I’ve seen this happen and when children get to a certain age they notice these things as well.

IMO, she should just skip the reality show and get back with Usher. According to her recent interview with Essence magazine, it sounds like she would entertain the possibility of getting back with him if the opportunity presented itself.
