KWESI BOAKYE ATTENDS THE “I CAN DO BAD ALL BY MYSELF” PREMIERE

Actor Kwesi Boakye,10, attended the New York premiere of “Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself” at the SVA Theater on September 8, 2009 in New York City. Kwesi’s brothers Kwame Boateng,17,and Kofi Siriboe,15, were there to support young Kwesi on the red carpet.
In the film, Kwesi acts alongside Academy Award nominee, Taraji P. Henson (2008 Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.), and hip-hop queen, Mary J. Blige. The movie, which is based off of a Tyler Perry screenplay, tells the story of “pistol packing” Madea, played by Tyler Perry, who finds her house raided by three kids, including Manny played by Kwesi.
