KIYAN’S FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
Kiyan, the son of NBA player Carmelo Anthony and Television personality Lala Vasquez, started school this week. Kiyan is only two years old, but his mom wanted him to get an early start. This is what his mom wrote on her blog IamLaLa:
“First day of school! Wow it was so exciting! I think more for me than him. LOL. Kiyan’s only two but I thought it was a perfect time to get him in a school setting to socialize, learn to share, communicate better, and things like that. I stayed with him the whole time since it was his first day. Believe me he was not paying me any attention! He got so comfortable he took his clothes off outside! Too funny. I know alot of you parents out there can relate to this moment. and NO I didnt cry! LOL..Mel keeps saying this isn’t REAL school since he’s so young but it felt super real to me!”

He gets cuter and cuter. LaLa Jr.
I remember that day as well. My son started head start school at 2 as well. My mother and I started crying. It was the cutest thing. I’m happy for Kiyan, he’s so cute!
AWWWWW, he is such a handsome little man !!! cant believe he is only 2 yrs old. Hope you keep having lots of fun Kiyan !!!
omg he is a doll baby, he is so cute. congrats, Kiyan, have fun at school.
Awww…his first day of school how cute
Awww lol That’s nice to get him a head start.
Kiyan is my favorite celebrity kid! This little boy makes me smile. What a handsome little man he is. I can’t believe how big he has gotten; however, I guess with a daddy 6′8″, it’s no surprise he will be tall. Lala, you and Melo make a cute couple and made an adorable little boy. You should be very proud. Happy first day at school, Kiyan.
HE SO CUTE HE IS GROWING UP SO FAST I REMEMBER WHEN HE WAS BORN,WELLI HOPE HE CONTINUE TO LOVE SCHOOL,MY NEPHEW STARTS NEXT TUES HES 3 AND I HOPE ACTS THE WAY KIYAN DID WHICH WAS GOOD.
Aww, how cute!!!
Look at him with his little lunch box, in the first pic!
He seems like such a gentle child. I know LaLa doesn’t want anymore children because of her complications but I hope they adopt. For some reason they seem like great parents. I hate when people are quick to call Carmello a thug (which I feel is the new N word)
Melo definitely loves his son. On his website, he stated that his son was HIS hero. Way to go, Melo!
he reminds me of my little cousin, such a sweet looking little boy
They grow up so fast!
He’s a cutie. He’ll be a heartbreaker one day.
My baby started preschool too, last week, and he loves it! I was sad for a day or two, but it’s so good for these little ones. It’s so cute to see babies doing things like this for the first time.
He’s a cutie!
He is SO cute!!! 2 yrs old is perfect for pre-school or daycare with their peers. My son is the same age and it’s done wonders for him and i’m not surprised Kiyan got madd comfortable. LOL!
I love Melo & LaLa & Kiyan too. But I wanna know why he’s still in a Pull-Up at 2.
most boys seem to still be in pull-ups at 2. they don’t tend to potty train as early as girls.
YEAH MY NEPHEWS AND NIECE WERE 3 WHEN THEY GOT OUT OF DIAPERS.
that’s nothing. My BFF’s daughter will be 3 in December and she still wears PAMPERS! Can talk and tell you that she stinks!
Most boys don’t potty train as fast as girls. I have 3 nephews that were fully trained by age 3.
If that was my daughter she would NEVER get off the potty! She would be so mad she’d finally figure out how and when to use it.
*anyways*
Kiyan is really cute! Why did she dress him like that? I understand kids get dirty but that outfit is for “after” school when you gotta take off ya good clothes and throw something on to play in.
Awww…
