Actress Vanessa A. Williams and son Omar Tafari Wiseman,12, attended the Los Angeles premiere of “Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs” on September 12, 2009.
Vanessa, who is married to producer Andre Wiseman, also has a younger son named Haile Zion,5. Vanessa is best known for her HBO/BET Soul Food television series.

I agree with you. That’s the way I feel about all the hairstyles like this. There needs to be some shape or something other than just looking like they washed it, let it dry and kept on going. But I guess that’s what the style is today. I just don’t find it very attractive.

It has nothing to do with chemicals, it has to do with looking kempt. You never have to use chemicals to neaten one’s hair unless you consider comb, brush and scissors chemicals.

As a mother of a son who refuses to wash, comb or brush his hair without being yelled at, I can somewhat understand how she could let him come out like that. However, if I know we are going to be posing on the red carpet, that hair is getting combed, brushed, or at least pulled back in a ponutail.
The shame of it all, is that he looks so cute despite the hair.
Good grief! There is NOTHING wrong with his hair! He looks to be rocking a twist out. It does not mean that his hair is not combed! Natural kinky hair shouldn’t be combed dry any way! His hair isn’t tangled or matted. It looks healthy and conditioned.
