DWYANE WADE SHARES A MOMENT WITH HIS SON

NBA player Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat and his older son Zaire,7, shared a father/son moment while at the Temple of Praise Binding and Loosing Ministries International in Chicago, Illinois on September 13th. Dwyane and his son were listening intently to the preachings of Pastor Jolinda Wade, who happens to be Dwyane’s mom.

Besides spending quality time with his son and his mom, Dwayne had another reason for being at church on that particular Sunday: he was  on hand to distribute backpacks with school supplies to kids as part of his Wade’s World Weekend of events.

Dwyane has another son named Zion Malachi Airamis Wade(born May 29, 2007), with whom he had with his estranged wife Siohvaughn.

Wow I am glad to see this picture, I lost respect for D Wade when his wife/ ex wife put out that he was a dead beat Dad and did not spend time with his son’s. Forget about his basketball skills I don’t care about the millions. That’s all good, A black man bonding with his son is priceless and rare. I tip my hat off to entertainers who stay in their kids life after divorce. GOD BLess D Wade.

  • Nanette says:

Oh yeah, I did not know he was giving back to the community. Way to go. That says alot about D Wade. Does anybody EVER remember Micheal Jordon giving back to the community of kids that buy those Jordons. Just wanted to know.

  • Monique says:

Have no respect for him and after paying attention and reading last month’s Essence, I have no respect for Gabrielle either. Just my opinion.

  • Shet up says:

Ms. Monique I have last months Essence and there is nothing in that article that is disrespectful. You just want to be negative probably because you don’t look like Gabrielle. Let’s be real people move on and we don’t know what happen in his marriage for “people” to say the things they are saying. You should hear both sides before judging. But I guess I am a minority in that because that is all people do is judge. And that is my opinion.

    • Monique says:

And yet you judge me. I am an avid NBA and sports fan. And I watched the Heat the entire season his marriage fell apart. Don’t attack me for my opinions. I did notice when his wife has been shown in the stands and when he was photographed with her days afterwards in a night club. It’s disrespectful and inappropriate. Why do people always want to assume someone is hating on someone because they don’t agree with what they’re doing? He’s an amazing bball player and she’s a gorgeous actress, does that make you feel better? I still don’t respect them personally.

  • Kay says:

Looks like Dwayne spit him out! Looks just like his daddy. Cute!

  • Nikki says:

I agree with monique 100% I have no respect for either as well.

    @Shet up

just because people have their own opinions does not make them jealous, I for one agree with monique and I am not jealous, I would not want to look like Gabrielle she is an avergae chick, her actions make her an even uglier person, I guess all whores will have another whores back right, since you are defending gabrielle to someone’s opinion.

  • Nanette says:

@ Monique and Shet up, I think Shet up is wrong for going after you regarding your feelings on D Wade, I respect you for how you took whatever went wrong between he and his wife. This is America their is no law that says we can’t be negative or judge people last time I checked. SO everybody can say what they want regarding D Wade and his wife. I just want him to be there for the kids. When I heard he did not spend time with his son and his son did not know him, I lost respect for him. But here he is with his son. Sometime is better than nothing.

Besides who knew he would be faithful, money, little power, women galore. I can easily see the temptation and D Wade failed for it. Not saying it’s right but I see how it could happen. If I was his wife, See ya, pay me, and be there for your kids. Look at Lionel Richie and his ex wife, kids and the woman who broke up the marriage. Forgive and move on.

  • camie says:

  • dashayna says:

  • ModelChic says:

Zaire is a wonderful name. I don’t care about what goes on/went down in the relationships.Just be there for the kids!

  • Mrs.Jersey says:

wow @ do you reseach nanette..michael jordan has done a tremendous amout of giving back..more than half of some of these sorry basketball players can say for themselves..if u dont believe or fail to want to do the reaseach i will post it in a comment on here for your..dont come at jordan im a die hard fan..

    • Nanette says:

I need to see this, I have never seen him give back to the hood. You being a die hard fanatic ( Fan) what does that mean? Are you saying he can do no wrong, and if he does wrong nobody should call him out or hold him accountable. Is he bigger than GOD what does you being a die hard fan have to do with me not being a fan at all.

  • Felicia says:

Dwayne’s son looks exactly like him.

  • MSTLM says:

TO ALL THAT HAD THERE OPINIONS, ITS OK TO SAY HOW YOU FEEL BUT ITS SAYS IN THE BIBLE TO TREAT YOUR NEIGHBOR OR ENEMY LIKE YOU WOULD WANT TO BE TREATED. SO THAT’S THERE LIVES NOT ANYONES ELSES. YOU CAN SAY WHAT YOU WANT BUT DON’T CRITIZISE IF YOU DON’T WANT PEOPLE TO DO THE SAME TO YOU IT’S ALL ABOUT RESPECT. GIVE IT TO A PERSON ANYWAY CAUSE OTHERS WILL RESPECT YOU.
