Lisa Leslie stood with her daughter Lauren Lockwood,2, as they watched a video testimonial of her 12-year- career. The video testimonial was all part of a September 11th  farewell tribute in honor of the WNBA star who is set to retire at the end of this season.

“This year I have another opportunity to put more of 100 percent into my job one last time,” Leslie said recently. “It’s really difficult balancing the team and family.

“I love being a wife, I enjoy my husband and our time. I love being a mom. I’m really passionate about raising a child and being there for her. For me, I just see it’s really hard to give 100 percent to everything.(SOURCE)

She’s not the first by a long shot, but she’s one of a few players left who has been there since the inaugural season and she has had an AMAZING career: WNBA championships, MVPs, and 4 Olympic gold medals. To WNBA fans, it’s like Shaq retiring or an equivalent.

No, she’s not. Its been a few Cynthia Cooper, Kym Hampton, Rebecca Lobo. But her daughter is cute, she favors Lisa.

What an adorable little girl! I’d get an agent for her quick–I see a child star or model here.
