Connor Cruise,14, enjoyed a fun-filled family outing with his dad Tom Cruise, his baby sister Suri, and his bonus mom Katie Holmes yesterday(September 20, 2009). The family of four all went shopping at a Boston area boutique where they treated themselves to a shopping spree! Connor’s older sister was not there for the outing.

It is amazing how much he looks like Tom.
Why does Connor looks more and more like Tom, the older he gets?
Is it coincidence or DNA?

Seems like Tom is doing a great job raising his son. No scandals or anything surrounding them. He looks proud of his son and has every reason to be , I guess.

I wouldn’t say he looks like him but he definitely has his characteristic.
I think it’s really disrespectful and cruel to assume that a man who is obviously good father would purposefully tell the world and his own child that he’s not actually his just to save face. Do you really think he would do that to Connor? Please, this is Hollywood. If Tom would have gotten down with a sister and had a whole child and actually fake adopted him and covered it up with his wife, it would have came out by now. It’s ridiculous. I notice that David looks more and more like Guy Ritchie as the years go on. People say I look like my adoptive family. I think it’s like when people start to look like their pets, it’s all coincidental and a lot to do with mannerisms. If you feed us, we’ll start to look like you!
LOL@ Monique!! I was thinking the same thing “feed ‘em long enough and they’ll look like you”. Monique thank you for your comments bc that’s exactly what I was going to say. Who are you all (John Q Public) that Tom Cruise would need to deny his blood son and come up w/ an adoption farce? Puh-leaze! This is his father, period. His mannerisms, temperment,etc…have all been structured in this home all his life–who else should he look and act like?
How do you know Connor is not his biological son? What if the mom died? What if an agreement has been made & wont be revealed til Tom dies? No one knows if Connor is Tom’s biological child or not but Tom. Do I think he would do that to Connor…I don’t know Tom, so I cannot say. Do I think fathers would have sex with their own children, no but it happens every day.
The whole “if you feed them long enough, they would look like you” is a bunch of BS. How come his daughter does not resemble him as much as Connor does? How come Connor or big sister does not resemble Nicole as much, she feeds them just as much. Matter of fact, the chef is the one actually feeding them, so shouldn’t tell all resemble the chef?
I can understand the characteristics & mannerism being similar, but I do not see how “feeding him” can alter the genes. My step-dad fed me all my life & I never looked like him, yet he is my only daddy. I have fed a lot of homeless people over the years & not one of them as ever looked like me, then or now.
The bottom line is Tom is being a father to his children, biological & adoptive & that is the most important thing.
why would Tom lie about Connor being adopted? What’s the big secret if he isn’t? That’s just teaching your child to lie. Many people look like other people, even when they are not related.
Why wouldn’t Tom lie about Connor being adopted? I do not know Tom personally so I do not know what his intentions are with anything.
Janet Jackson was married for years before it was made public, why did she do that? Who knows, as I said, only that specific individual knows why they do things.
Besides, I couldn’t care less if Connor is his biological or adopted son, as long as he’s raising him with the correct morals.
I’ve been thinking that for years. I think that it happens like that a lot adopted children look like their adopted parents and you would never know that they weren’t biological.
I always thought Tom was the biological father of Connor. He was adopted by Nicole but Tom is the father.
He’s handsome! And lucky to have Tom in his life and Tom is lucky to have him.
I have to agree with Monique on this one. I think when you see children with their parents whether biological, adopted, step etc, your mind automatically looks for features that are similiar even if they are not there. I think Connor could look like Donald Faison whose pic is on the lower left side of the screen but they aren’t related.
One day we’ll learn what it was like to grow up with Tom when the memoirs comes out. It is interesting that since the divorce the two older children are almost never with their mother, Nicole Kidman.
That’s right. I have forgotten that the two of them adopted children while they were married. Conner is so handsome.

I agree its mannerisms I noticed that Brad and Angelina’s sons walk like him and somebody wrote that Zahara looks like Angie although I don’t see it.

I think that Zahara looks just like Angie and it may seem crazy as she’s adopted BUT they look so alike I’l always ’shocked’ anytime I see pix of ‘em two… Same features, same deep look, same ’smile’ or lack of smile at times for Zee
My sister told me it was because we all agree that Angie’s her Mom now so our brain keeps making comparisons, keeps looking for similarities. Maybe yes, I think it could be the reason.
I like the guys’ blue jeans. My husband has some like them and I call them his “hot azz” jeans!
