UPCOMING: LEANNA ARCHER, TEEN CEO OF LEANNA’S INC
Leanna Archer,14, is the teen CEO of Leanna’s Inc., a hair and body care business that she started when she was just nine years old. In June 2005, Leanna officially launched her business out of people’s admiration for her long, dark mane:
“Since a young age, my mom put a hair pomade that my great grandmother created and as I grew older, it became obvious to me that the compliments that I was receiving from strangers about my beautiful locks had something to do with the pomade, the more I thought about it the more it became obvious that making this recipe available could benefit both me and the potential customers. But I had to find a way to convince my parents not only to listen to my idea but to also help me accomplish it.”
Leanna now sells a line of hair and body products made from natural products. Some products include, Hair Dressing with Shea Butter, Hair Oil Treatments, Shampoos, Conditioners, Scented Hand and Body lotions, Facial Masks, and much more. A Dun & Bradstreet report shows annual sales at $140,000 for the company.

Kids are intelligent too. 9 year-olds are the new 25 year olds. Some of the thing’s that come out of my 3 year old daughter’s mouth truly amaze me. My mother say’s all the time that babies/children of today’s generation are very bright and doing thing’s from an earlier age. This child’s business mentality does not surprise me in the least bit. My brother and I had business plans from an early age. Set a healthy “go-getter” example for your children and they will more than likely adopt it.

Leanna has a gorgeous head of hair, but I am more impressed by her business savvy at such a young age!
I hope her company continues to do well and that their is continued growth.
Inspiring—I need a fire lit now, I’ve got much more mileage in years than this young lady, but its just been a pipe dream so far to get my own thing started.

Her hair is beautiful but using that pomade won’t make anyone’s hair look like hers. That’s mostly genetics and proper care for retaining growth.

See, this is what I’m talking about!!

KiKi I could not agree more! Leanna does have gorgeous hair but most of that is genetic and the maintenance of a good hair regiment that works for her hair texture.
So many times I hear Carroll’s Daughter smells great but the product does not do wonders for the hair.
True a lot of products may smell good or delicious but the fact is we all have different genetics and that means different grade hair because it is part of nature. As far as nurture we all don’t nurture our hair the same for many reasons. Those reasons may be age, how much time we have, cost of resources, knowledge, they type of hair we have, tradition and etc. Whether hair is short or long doesn’t make it good hair it is the care of hair that makes it healthy and beautiful; and it is obvious that Leanna and her mom have provided excellent care for her hair.

You all just have to say something negative don’t you? Why don’t you dis somebody like V05, or CoverGirl, instead of waiting until someone is trying to say something to uplift, to start your crap. THIS article is about how successful she is, and if pomade is used correctly, it will leave you looking amazing. So instead of raining on her parade, take your put-downs to someplace where they belong; like a discussion about businesses that don’t do what they say they will. You don’t look like you have recognized something that no one else did by dropping that mess here.
Gosh, even for the children you can’t just turn the hateration off for a few minutes.

Black peoplee got to stop hating on other people’s success just cause she found her niche doesen’t mean you need to interrogate her wit and try to always downsize products do your research infact the spray detangler mist is excellent idea and the pomade as well as all her natural products it seems amazing to me that a little girl could turn a dream into a reality instead of hateration be inspired deuces God bless everyone
