Cute red dress for a 16 year old and up. She does not look like she is ten with this strapless dress a little too much for a ten year old.

@ Aries There is nothing wrong with her dress. It’s not like she is showing anything unless its a crime for a 10 year old to show her shoulders.

They make dresses that are appropriate for ten year old little girls. This dress is more for a teenager or young adult. I seen teenager wearing this style to homecoming or proms. She is a little girl not a teenager or young adult. Some people on this site complain about what keke palmer wear she is 16 this little girl does not get a pass. My opinion little girls should not be wearing a strapless dress.

The dress is a dress for a movie premiere. How often does a little girl get to dress up and walk the red carpet like that? Let her have her moment. She looks classy and elegant with natural make-up and hair.

She looks really cute but Nanny I do not agree with you. The dress is very pretty but they could have added straps for a more toned down look due to her age. It’s ok to have your moment but when you started receiving the wrong attention that’s when problems start. These stylist they get are so use to dressing adults that they seem to forget that’s a child (little girl). Stop trying to grow them up so fast.

THESE STYLISTS???? This little girl went to a dress shop on Friday night to pick out dresses for the premieres for this movie. It was altered to fit her on Saturday and she flew out on Sunday at 6 am.
Normally she is wearing a pair of jeans, long sleeve shirt, vest or leather jacket, ugg boots, and a scarf. She also wears a uniform to catholic elementary. Her mother and her made the choices of what she wore. I am sure she felt like a princess. She wasn’t goin to church or a wedding.

BCK: can you please tell me when “Caribbean” became a race??? Last time I checked there were people living in the Caribeean from all the races that you mentioned above. In the Caribbean Island’s you’ll find, White, Indian, Black, Spanish, Chinese, Portugese..etc.

I was like wait for it. Someone will say it. And there it was. “Cute red dress for a 16 year old and up. She does not look like she is ten with this strapless dress a little too much for a ten year old.” She looks so cute in that dress. If she was wearing Stilettos, maybe I could see it. She’s adorable and some folks need to learn to say something positive instead of hating on this little kids all the time. Get a life!

Emerald-Angel is a pretty girl! I wonder what the movie is about and when it comes out, I will have to head to fandango.com and find out.

But I agree! She looks older then ten in the hot-red dress!

Isis, I wonder too: When did Caribbean become a race? Hmmmm…..LOL.

10?!?! I can’t believe that this girl is the same age as my little sister. She’s gorgeous but looks so grown up. I’ll have to agree with Aries in that I don’t find it appropriate for a 10 year old to be in a strapless dress. I think she’d still look older regardless though…especially with the makeup.

I’m loving the natural hair :)

Yeah, I agree. That dress is a bit much for a ten year old.

She’s absolutely adorable. I think her name is Lovely. You dont have little girls having it too often. Better than Shaquisha.

I too think she looks older than 10 and the dress has nothing to do with it. My eyes could be playing tricks on me, but it looks like she’s wearing makeup. A light touch, but some nontheless. THAT’S why she looks older.

I thought she was 14 or so, but was surprised she was only 10. Yes she does look older than 10 & the dress, shoes & make-up does not help.

On 1 hand, if it was just for the premiere, the dress is ok (w/straps), but if she dresses like that on the regular, her parents need to get a new stylist.

The movie is about a man in jail still committing crimes. Jamie is the detective trying to stop him. Previews look good thou.

However, she looks beautiful. After reading all the races, all I saw was black.

I agree with you. The dress doesn’t make her look “grown woman” grown like the dress that Eddie Murphey’s daughter Shayne had on not long ago. It just makes her look older, like around 14 or 15. Though it’s a bit much for a 10 year old, and with the makeup makes her look like a teenager, if this is a one time thing I would let it go. She’s not going to a school dance, she’s going to a red carpet premiere of her movie. I think it’s okay to dress up ON OCCASSION.

Regardless of how much older it makes her looks, she looks fabulous in it. She’s a pretty girl and seems to be a little mature for her age and that’s okay. All 10 year olds aren’t going to be on the same level.

She looks beautiful in the red dress and I looooveee her hair but, I have to agree that dress is a little too much for someone who is 10 years old.

I don’t understand why people come on here complaining about how any young person is dressed. Does the way they dress for formal functions dictate something? Does that mean that the young ladies are “fast”? Does the dress make them “fast”? Is the dress/outfit going to tell someone something?

The bottom line is I don’t like kiddie perms, ghetto names, or young people that cannot read or write, but they exist and I cannot do anything about it, just like no one writing on these boards can change the way a young person and his or her guardian choices to dress said young person. NEXT!

I think the dress is fine even without straps. She is at a movie premiere. She is not at the club. She looks beautiful. She is color coordinated and her hair and make-up is tasteful. there is nothing wrong with what she has on. Can’t people just lookd at her and say she is a pretty little girl and leave it at that?

I think she looks like a little princess. What was she supposed to a wear, a burka? I think this is age-appropriate and beautiful. Kudos to Emerald-Angel for being elegant on the red carpet.
