He answered quite well and I must admit, as much as I jumped on the Obama bandwagon initially, I’ve been quite critical of him over the last couple of months namely because in the back of my mind I almost considered him to be some sort of miracle worker despite the fact he’s merely human. I wouldn’t go as far as to say I hated the man, for he’s done nothing worthy of hate, but I admit to being overly critical. And he hit the nail on the head when he said that when all is good everybody loves you. So many people loved him when the only thing he was responsible for was shoveling out the hopeful rhetoric. Now when he’s taking on larger issues in which a fancy speech just won’t do the trick, so many of us have become negative. Give the man a moment. It’s a country in deep financial, social and political crisis, not a little scratch on the wall or a bumped knee that can be easily fixed.
President Obama is so cool. I love him!

Aww that was cute. You can tell he is a smart little boy. He said “God is love” and I think President Obama did a great job answering hi question with a very age appropriate response.
I love how he explained matters to the child, too. Loveyoumuch, calm down! We all have presidents that we like, love, dislike, hate, etc. Sad would be never having a president that you identified with and supported.
Kweenie you’ve got a point there, I’m a African-American woman, not a biracial man born of a white woman’s womb (who is coincidentally related to several former WHITE USA presidents), and I’ve never been to Harvard, had a politician for a father, nor do I have a half Hawaiian and White sister. I’m also not a millionaire who was and is backed by the Euro-based elite who controls the world’s money, media, etc. to win the presidency of the USA.
I also didn’t sign to keep the (un)Patriot Act active, or say whatever it takes to win the people over, and then get into office and do a complete 180.
The educated idiots that voted for him, and were so euphoric after his victory are being a bit quiet now, and using phrases like “Time will tell…” aka “Oops, what did we do?” and the color-blinded idiots (note not to be confused with color blind, color-blinded are those fools who support Obama due to his color *looks around* ) are just ignoring everything altogether because once he won, nothing else mattered.
Meanwhile our rights are being sold out at an alarming rate, and because it’s being done by a “brother” whenever someone protests they are labeled a racist, or in my case a “self-hater”. It’s sick, wake up, check Youtube and watch the Obama Deception for yourselves.

Our president? Were people talking about “Our President” when it was Bush? Give me a break, stop falling for the scam, he’s not your friend, and yes there are racists who hate him for no other reason but his skin color. There are also people who LOVE him for no other racist but his skin color, and that is just as pathetic. Good an bad of all races, including ours (black) remember that, as he ushers us in where Bush left off, into the a New World Order.
Ummmm…you’re not being rational or fair. The man hasn’t even been in office a year, hell, not even 10 months and he’s the “New World Order”. Get outta here! I knew Bush was going to sink the U.S. in 2000 but I gave the man a FULL TERM before I was certain of it.

Virgie how is that unfair, were there any lies in the post? Please post the contradictions if that is the case. It’s not enough to claim people are being unfair, or say “give him a chance” when he’s handing your life over to the elite. Don’t take my word for it, look it up for yourself (if you dare to open your eyes) and pay attention to what is going on around you. Should we wait until the country is in near total disrepair and then do an analysis of his presidency?
The problem with simple-minded people is that they not only hurt themselves, but they hurt the rest of us too. I beg you, please stop covering your eyes, your ears, and please start thinking for yourselves. There is no hope, if people are too lazy to educate themselves.
Speaking of Bush, it’s a proven fact that he went into his presidency planning a war w/Iraq, that’s not fiction. 9/11 wasn’t the reason, it was the excuse to declare war on the Middle East, so why is it so far fetched to believe that this man who the media has been coddling (because you know white media is so *pro-black*) has an evil agenda. The Obama Deception takes excerpts from the media outlets that most people know and trust (basically anything Rupert Murdoch owns) as proof of what is going on, and what will come to pass.

I thought our president did a great job in explaining the hateful people of this country in terms that a child can understand without going too deep. Like Alyssa said, it’s a shame a child has to even ask a question like this.
I support President and Mrs. Obama all the way. I may not agree with all his policies, but that doesn’t mean that I won’t support him in the ones I do agree with.
Sad that kids have to ask why Americans aren’t respectful of THEIR president. People talk so much crap, but it doesn’t change the fact that he’s THEIR president, and will be for at least another 3 & 1/2 years
