LAMAR ODOM: MY WIFE AND I AREN’T READY FOR KIDS JUST YET
Newlyweds Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian aren’t ready to have kids just yet.
“Maybe one day, hopefully,” the NBA player told Usmagazine at his clothing launch on Wednesday. “That’s what kings and queens are put on the earth for, to have offspring.”
As for the couple’s whirlwind romance, Lamar said, “When you know, you know!” My wife is a beautiful person and she looks alright, too! She looks beautiful. I’m lucky!”
Lamar has two children Destiny, 11, and Lamar Jr., 8, with his ex-girlfriend Liza Morales and says “of course” Khloe will meet his children.
Lamar and Khloe married on September 27th, 2009 after dating for one month.

I honestly don’t like this couple, I think they got married for publicity. They don’t need to have kids they haven’t even been together long enough. But on a happier note his kids are too cute.

can you imagine??? how active is he in his childrens lives anyway? he couldnt even take the time let them feel comfortable to get to know her. i would never marry a man that was not active in his childrens lives. i bet he doesnt even know whats going on with them because he is too busy loving the new fame

Nikki, have you ever heard of the honeymoon stage? That’s the time in a relationship when all is great and rosey, i.e. initial attraction, butterflies in stomach, and the eurphoria of meeting someone new. It’s exciting, but you never base a relationship off that moment. Love progresses. The reality is when you get to the know the person; when you see them in good and bad times – you know their likes/dislikes, how they respond to certain situations. You are planning to be married for life. How in the heck is someone going to “just know” after only a few days, weeks, or months of meeting someone.
On 20/20 some months ago and on Oprah yesterday, there were about 6 women how had dated this one man, some for months, and I think one dated him for 4 years if I’m not mistaking. They then found out he was HIV positive. They didn’t know he was dating other women. You see? You never know what a man is all about. Heck, you can know a person for years and still not know. Nothing is guaranteed, but you still don’t want to throw caution to the wind when it comes to a lifelong decision like marriage. Maybe that’s why people get divorced so quickly. It’s not about marriage per se, but some people marrying for the wrong reasons. There are people who have met and married right away and it lasted (exception to the rule). Some have known people for years and it doesn’t last, but, again, why take the risk? Marriage is hard enough as it is. It’s like playing Russian Roulette. You are lucky if you dodge the bullet, but there’s a high probability that you won’t.

Didn’t meet his kids? Do they not reside in the U.S? Has their mom barred a visit? Is he not really that involed with them himself?
I could see holding off on waiting for a certain girlfriend or boyfriend to meet the kids from previous, but when it gets serious enough that marriage is on the table, I dunno…

I ain’t nockin the time they been together. But I don’t know what to make of this couple. Is it real? Is it a sham? It is going strong? Is it going downhill already? Who knows what the tabloids would have you believe.
Did they do for publicity? Well um… nobody knew who the hell Lamar was up until this marriage. And Klhoe is not even an A-lister. The most famous Kardashian was Kim. So together these two make headlines but are otherwise unknown if they had stayed apart. Well that’s a case for this being publicity but I don’t think it was that. I think they probably really did ‘fall’ for each other – but I think they got married too soon. I don’t see this lasting more than year….
As for Mariah and Nick – that was a surprise I didn’t even know Mariah was into black men. And Nick hopped on that because it was hello? – Mariah Carey that’s probably the greatest honor he’s ever had. But they seem to be having fun and their marriage seems pretty good – from what I can tell of the tabloids.

Nick and Mariah—they may seem star-crossed, but it looks real and they seem to be having a ball with each other; They also didn’t bring kids into their union. Lastly, they have been married over a year now–a record by Hollywood standads–lol
