  • MDGiRL says:

This is so strange. I clearly saw several pictures of her clearly pregnant last year….I’m glad for them either way.

    • Teri says:

You know, I remember hearing that she was pregnant before. I don’t know if she actually was or not. Maybe she had a miscarriage.

      • cruddy says:

Reading the article in Giant, she said she wasn’t pregnant. She had gained weight because she was not working and then wore this ill fitted dress. The family said Alan Thicke’s son is pregnant and the public not knowing about the other son Brandon assumed it was Paula. And the whole balloon dress didn’t help.

  • Kiki says:

They are a beautiful couple indeed. They look like me and my husband. This baby will be gorgeous just like my girls, hehe.. Congrats to them. For all you young-uns, this is the way it should be done. Marriage and get settled first.

  • sdu says:

hey wat race is Paula Patton

    • Teri says:

Everyone says she’s biracial; however, I have never heard Paula refer to herself as biracial, but black. Some biracial people do that. Robin also refers to her as black woman (I’ve read this in several articles about their relationship), so I don’t know and don’t care. Whatever race she is, I guess she and her man identify her as a black woman, but what’s more important, he loves the hell out of her.

      • DQMF says:

“I guess she and her man identify her as a black woman…”

Wrong… I guess she and her man identify her as a woman… period!

WTF, the Americans and their racial fanaticism/ideology… the never ending story! What a tick - unbelievable! Is she mixed, what race is she, biracial, multiracial, interracial, race, race, race, my a**! Ey race, I dig graves…

        • Teri says:

Of course she’s a woman. Duh! Someone asked a question about her racial identity. I answered it to the best of my ability. I’m not the one who brought race up, so just relax. As I stated in my post, I don’t CARE what race she is. I guess you skipped that part. I agree with you - people are obsessed with race, but I’m not one of them!

        • Teri says:

Oh, and btw, ROBIN has mentioned her being a “black woman” okay, so I didn’t make it up. He said it, not me. Sheesh!

        • Multitasking mama says:

          Well DQMF,
I’m sure that your well worded quip will educate everyone! Perhaps one day the world will be color blind but it’s not today. Coming from a “mixed” family I get VERY tired of the “What are you?” question myself but I DO have an answer for it. I have never checked human on any race box. My children and I identify as black and I can’t even voice how offended I am that you can’t wrap your mind around that. Your statement was worse that the original one because you completely disregarded Mrs. Patton’s answer.

Mrs. Patton is a proud black woman.

          • DQMF says:

            — “I have never checked human on any race box. My children and I identify as black and I can’t even voice how offended I am that you can’t wrap your mind around that.” —

First, I don’t want to offend anyone here. I guess we are living in two different worlds.

Correct - I can’t wrap my mind around that… I never will! I guess I’m lucky, because I don’t live in a fascist country where people are segregated into different “races” purely based on skin colour.

“Race” is a social construct to seperate and discriminate people based on some vague optical attributes, and most of you guys over there really buy into and hold tight to this old eurocentric shit! I would protest and rebel if someone forces me to check a “race” box…

Genetically, no human being is “biracial” or “multiracial”, because DNA-wise, we are all 99.9% the same. We all belong to the same race, the human race! That inhuman, social concept of race is the product of mass deception, ignorance, and bigotry. Indeed, it’s a sick illusion and nothing else. What’s wrong with America? Time to wake up…

The worst thing is, that people are born and raised with this illusion around “race”. Many people (especially in the US of A) limit themselves to what they can do based on their thinking of “race”. That is a slave mentality - a SICKNESS! All of you that have subscribe to this line of thinking have been fooled by the very people that want you separated to keep them in power over you. There is no such thing as “race” when it comes to humans. We are not animals! A concept (race) of animal husbandry and breeding does not belong to us humans!

It leads us to a systematic opression of “minorities” based on optical attributes or differences and to a socially/politically constructed concept to fit people into a classification system - only for the purpose of excluding certain groups! This type of thinking divide people from each other, and that’s exactly what the so-called “Elite” want. Divide and conquer at the cost of “minorities”! It makes all the wrong people strong (those who profit by the mistakes of fools). It will also lead to a massive segregation and division between or within the minorities itself… based on skin color for example: “Who is better - the one with the lighter complexion or the one with the darker complexion? Who belongs to us, who is “black” enough and who isn’t?

I know the American history, where people were categorized via the “brown paper bag test” or the “one drop rule” and segregated into man-made racial categories… but people are brainwashed if they believe someone can be “black” or “white”, because humans are not “black” or “white”… neither physically, nor on the level of genetics!

“Race” is a game played by people who believe they are better than other people because a small variation of skin colour. We shouldn’t throw ourselves under a label that was set up to create division/segregation or so called “racism”! That’s old eurocentric propaganda, pure ignorance and discrimination, mental poison - especially for upcoming generations! Anyone who believe, use or accept that man-made concept called “race” is responsible for passing on this mental poison from one generation to the next…

        • RaeRae says:

Hey DQMF, Teri already said “what’s more important, he loves the hell out of her”. So read the whole comment before you bite at someone.

Anywho I LOVE Robin & Paula! I hope they have a healthy baby and continue to have a healthy marraiage.

          • Teri says:

            Thank you, RaeRae!

          • Lioness says:

DQMF certainly has a point… and quite well-worded, too. Not sure if this is right place for it, as most people, including Teri, just wanted to congratulate Robin and Paula on their pregnancy. But DQMF certainly makes sense… “The worst thing is, that people are born and raised with this illusion around “race”. Many people (especially in the US of A) limit themselves to what they can do based on their thinking of “race”. That is a slave mentality - a SICKNESS!” I cannot agree more, I unfortunately see it every day, especially in the African-American communities. But I want to point out that this isn’t a problem in just the US, racism/colorism and race/color classification happens all over the world. It truly, truly sucks.

ANYway, congrats to Paula and Robin, best of luck to them.

  • Erica L. Crump says:

Congrats! BTW, she reminds me so much of Halle Berry.

  • CuriosCaseofLunaMe says:

First pregnancy? Could someone investigate/explain those very pregnant pics from last year? I suspected she had a miscarriage, but were those pics from a movie role? Since they’re calling this her 1st pregnancy?

    • Ewurafua says:

      I also wondered about that.
I think she was pregnant…cos that definitely wasnt any old regular weight gain. She also used to hold her tummy like pregnant women do.
I believe she suffered a miscarriage/ still birth…so that is probably the reason why she is not talking about it.
It must be very difficult for her and him.

  • Monique says:

He is so fine til it’s not even funny.

  • geishagirl says:

I was so happy to hear this news!!! I love this couple and wish them all the best. I pray they have a healthy baby and I know they will give it so much love. They seem really sweet and like good, caring people.

  • RaeRae says:

By the way, even though we have all established that race doesn’t matter & that they are a beautiful couple no matter what, in Robin Thicke’s song “Dreamworld” he says:

“And there would be no black and white. The world would just treat my wife right. We could walk down Mississippi and no one would look at us twice. That’s my dream world.”

  • cassie says:

This hasn’t been confirmed .US weekly is a tabloid like Life And Style, who claimed a friend told them Halle was pregnant last month

  • Klassy says:

If the news is indeed true I am so happy for them both. I love Robin’s music and I think Paula is a wonderful actress. They make a very good couple and I know they will be extraordinary parents. GOD BLESS!!!!!

  • Pisces says:

    They are a cute couple.

  • Felicia says:

    Congrats to Robin and Paula.
