I agree…love it! One thing I like about them, they look so down to earth & comfortable in the picture. They don’t seem uptight or fake. This has to be the realist first family the white house has ever seen. I mean, look how Malia is hanging out next to mom.

So, she’s retained a little of the baby fat– she is only 7.

What I see are chubby cheeks and an average size, albeit tall for her age (look at her parents) child and as cute as can be.

      Very nice portrait.

Wow what a beautiful picture. The girls r to gorgeous, even though Sasha looks like mommy and Malia looks like daddy. Sasha have daddy’s eyebrows and Malia have mommy’s. Genes are sumthin else, lol, especially when you can make children this pretty. I love the Obamas and the President is doing an excellent job. If it is anything negative being said about the President or his family, I neva read it. It is a shame in this day and age peeps still cant accept a man of color being President. Amazing thing is that the man is half white and some peeps still cant accept it. He is just another black man. Yet it is so funny how they address most people of 2 different races as biracial. Makes u go hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

YES!! gurl u rite. People so quick to say, oh im biracial, oh i can’t find a place in this world, please. I’m multi racial, Trinidadian, Cuban, and panama. But when i am introduce to other people they see a black girl, with some curly hair. So i don’t claim that i am multi racial, im black thats all, if it was slavery times, it would not matter, i got 1/8 black blood, or i got dark skin im black. People need to realize white people do not care how close to white ur genetic make up is, your still black!!

That is NOT true Dashayna about white people
saying all biracial people are just black.
There are many, many cases that I have seen
white people argue that a person is not “really”
black because their parents are biracial blacks
or because they are half white or something.

They even argue that Ethiopians and Somali people
are not really black. You have no idea what you’re
        talking about.

Ty, why are you so defensive about this–is there something underlying here….hmmm

can i ask you a question, when you look at the president do you see an biracail man or do you see a black guy, does he pass the “paper bag” test?.

If what you are saying is true, then why aren’t white people out with signs, going hey technically its still another white presidents. when you look at mariah do you see a biracail women or a light skin black women. I did not know she was part white until i was older and read about it.

People are always tryna push there blackness away, claiming that they have other races mixed in, whats wrong with being black. Im black and Im PROUD

Obviously, you are not familiar with this photographer. She didn’t start earning millions and become famous because she takes pictures that “anybody” can take. Look agian! LOL

Yes, indeed, we have a beautiful First Family. There are so many other black families out there like this one, except we never really hear about them. We, including me, always tend to focus on the negatives because you rarely (in mainstream media) hear about the everyday black families like our President and First Lady’s family. They might not have their status, but they are holding things down. I bet there are people who post on BCK’s website who have families that look just like the First Family. Big shout out to them!

Malia has the top of Michelle’s face but looks like Barack from her nose down, while Sasha has the top of Barack’s face but looks like Michelle from her nose down. It’s really cute how Barack and Michelle’s feature’s blended so perfectly but Malia and Sasha don’t look anything alike! Genes are funny like that sometimes. They’re still super adorable. I love how both of them are holding Michelle’s hands; they seem to be really close to her. : )

They look like an average American family to me. I also don’t agree that most whites consider biracial people to be just black. My kids are biracial and I have never heard a white person say they are only black. As a matter of fact, I always get asked “if” they are biracial.

That seems like a stupid question for someone to ask the parents of children. How insulting.
