Singer Madonna was photographed carrying her son David today(October 27th) during a visit to his old home, an Orphanage known as “The Hope Children Center” in the Mchinji District in Malawi.

During their visit to the orphanage on Tuesday, Madonna, along with her three other children, toured David’s former home.  Madonna and her kids-Lourdes,13, David,4, Mercy,3, and Rocco,9,- have been in Malawi since Sunday. On Monday, the singer broke ground at her charity’s new school for girls.

He is so cute. I think he is way too big to be carried now but I maybe he’s used to her carrying him. He’s one tall boy.

I am glad Madonna is doing good deeds in her kids’ homeland.

David is going to be a handsome young man. No comment on Madonna.

Are all these ignorant comments left by the same person because I can’t believe there are that many foolish folks on this wonderful site?

I am very glad she keeps taking Mercy and David back to Malawi so they can keep in touch with their culture and know where they came from. I don’t understand how that can possibly be a bad thing. I’m also glad Lourdes and Rocco get to experience their siblings’ birth place and see how many children around the world live. Hopefully that will make them all caring and responsible human beings who continue their mother’s work, not only in Malawi, but around the world.

Since when does a copyright exist on girls’ schools? Oprah didn’t build the first and I hope that wasn’t the last! If only more people would do the same. Just because Oprah built one in South Africa, that doesn’t mean there shouldn’t be more in other places, quite the contrary. Girls are at such a disadvantage in countries like Malawi, the more people put their necks out to help, the better.

I’m not sure if this is allowed, but here is a great video about what she is doing in Malawi
[Links have been removed but will show up on the site later..]

After seeing and reading that, I hope you will understand what she’s trying to accomplish and how important it is to her and her children.
