OMG What has she done to that poor childs hair??? I think she has put in a home relaxer also… the back looks eaten out and dry…oh dear…u have to wonder is she doing it to spite eddie or what? She’s probably doing it to get some sort of reaction from eddie, and everytime that man picks up the paper and sees the crimes against his daughters head he must cringe and cry

It even looks like Iris may even have a relaxer in her hair. Even if she had an accident with this child’s hair she didn’t have to cut it like this. A little Afro would have been more appropriate.
I’m sorry I know she’s her child and hair grows back but, I still can’t get over the fact that she shaved that girls head! But, their costumes are cute!
I think Mel B is crazy, there is nothing cute about Angel’s head..and I am sick of seeing Phoenix in those dirty, run-over tennis shoes.
I was just wondering if there is a little bit of mental illness with Mel B. She should do that to her own hair not the child’s. It just looks weird and seems strange that a “rational” mother would do that to her baby.
I agree with you and others, Khrish. If she Mel B. doesn’t want to take care of both of her kids she should just safely drop them off at a fire station or hospital somewhere.
This child is a good candidate for one of those baby wigs that BCK showed in a post about a month ago.

Angel Iris Hair is terrible. OMG! For the first time we get to see it so close, and that is the worst hair style I have ever seen on a little girl. I feel sorry that this little girl will have to see these pictures when she gets older! Her mom needs to be slapped!
My thoughts exactly. Melanie is always dolled up, there is no excuse for the jacked up hair, or tennis shoes.
That’s what strikes me as strange. If she always looked wild and out there, I could understand, not like, what she has done to the baby’s hair. But she looks so put together herself and the children look so weird, especially the baby. You would expect a cut like that for the child if the mother was Lisa Bonet as she always looks weird herself.
Somebody should hole Mel down and shave her weave off of her head!!

Honestly I think Mel B has lost her mind totally. How do you treat your little girl like this, because you didn’t get her father. That’s what this is all about, she is trying to get some type of reaction out of Eddie and what she needs to get is arrested. This is cruel what she has done to this poor little girl. She has shaved her other daughter’s hair off, so you know she is trying to get attention. I so don’t like her for this. And that husband of her’s duh, I just don’t care for this couple at all. someone please contact the authorities. Mel Eddie doesn’t want you so stop taking it out on Lil Iris.
I really think she is doing this with hopes that Eddie would step up to the plate and spend time with the little girl. Looks like she even had her freshly scapped for Holloween. What kind of mother would do this to her little girl. She would have nevered done anything like this to Phoenix because she probably knew that the her father would slap the crap out of her.
Okay, I’m going to disagree with ALL of you and say that I think Angel’s hair actually suits her, she looks cute and VERY stylish! I mean, she’s so freakin’ cute that pretty much any style would work on her, but I don’t think the fro-hawk/mohawk looks bad. And we don’t know that Mel relaxed it- I’m guessing she just pressed it for the day. Love the Elmo costume, her and Phoenix look great!!
And by the way, who does/cuts their babies’ hair to spite deadbeat fathers? Is that something some of y’all do?? Cuz I tell you, I wouldn’t've thought of it until I read some of your posts… shame on you guys, LOL!!!
Perhaps she is the reason that Eddie stays away. You have to be with her if you want the child. She seems a bit whacky to me and I wouldn’t want to be around her either. That baby’s hair looks like the cut a punker’s child would wear.
I usually try to reserve judgement for how people want their kids to look as long as it doesn’t look like abuse, but I don’t know about having such a little girls hair shaved bald–hair bumps anyone?
It does not look cute. I could see a faux-hawk– cut low and long at the top–but not completely bald on the sides like his toddler. She is under 4 so she is technically still a toddler.
At any rate, she is a pretty litte girl that seems happy and well taken care of other wise.
There are many types of abuse and her appearance can be labeled as physical abuse. What must little Angel think when she sees other girls her age?

Why in the world would anyone, least of all Mel, cut Angel’s hair to get back at Eddie or to bring Eddie back to her? She married to a man who adores her 2 children that are not his. That is the best way to get back at her “baby daddies”.

You might not agree with what we say about the hairstyle given that baby, but I bet you wouldn’t cut your little girl’s hair in that style. If she were a teenager and did it herself it would look strange but then teenagers do strange thing. She is a baby and I, for one, can’t understand why her mother would decide to give her that haircut. I don’t care about the father, it’s the mother that made the decision. She doesn’t make herself look like that. She is always very together in all of her pictures. Most mothers have their little girls reflect the way they, themselves look. Disagree if you want, but deep down you know that haircut is weird for that baby.

I’m sure there are a lot of little Black girls with nice hair styles that are truly being physically or verbally abused. To say that messing up a child’s hair is tantamount to child abuse is ridiculous. If this were a boy, I doubt the comments would be so harsh.

Yeah, I think you got to have a few problems to cut a baby’s hair like that. If the baby’s hair grew like that she would be trying all kind of things to make it look different. I certainly do think that she is whacky to do that to that baby’s hair. I said it!
Mel should have thrown that bottle of Gatorade on the photographer for snapping a picture of the back of her little girl’s head.

OK, when it was first done and the child hair was still curly, I thought ‘ok, I wouldn’t do that (to my girl child) but mohawks are in so it’s ok.’ I’ve seen a lotta people with mohawks where I’m from, including some teenage or 20-something girls. It’s a fad, I thought. It will wear itself out.
But that poor child is now mohawked and relaxed. That’s not good. Just goes to show you that just because you’re black - don’t mean you know a thang about black hair. Angelina and Heidi seem to know more about black hair than Mel B.
