ANTONIA CARTER: “I JUST GO ALONG WITH THE FLOW”

Reality star Antonia “Toya” Carter and her daughter Reginae are pictured at the 2009 Soul Train Awards at the Georgia World Congress Center on November 3, 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Missing from the candid shot was Reginae’s father, rapper Lil Wayne, who Antonia insists is a great dad.
“We talk. We have a great relationship,” Carter said of her ex- husband Lil Wayne in October. “He’s a great father.”
This month, Lil Wayne will welcome his fourth child by a fourth woman. So how does Antonia explain Lil Wayne’s growing brood to Reginae?
“He tells her about it, so I just go along with the flow,” Antonia said.
By flow I am assuming she means “money flow”! Whenever she is interviewed Antonia Carter sounds like she’s rehearsed her responses which always sound exactly the same. People have good days and bad days. Prison days and no prison days. Why do people elevate this kind of stuff?

She is a PERFECT mix of her mother and father…wheww! good b/c for a min. she was taking over little waynes looks,but her mom help her out. they have the same smile and dimple that is crazy. i wonder will she ever have anymore kids. she is very young, like in her early twenties. thats crazy.

Don’t take my comment wrong, I like Toya. Didn’t they report he bought her an expensive car for her birthday? Wonder if he’d be so great if all the luxuries stop & he paid regular ole child support? We’ll see because everyone else is gonna want their issue now that they have a baby.
Judging from her tv show, she didn’t seem to want to move on because she wanted to make sure she got involved with someone of equal value. Not saying she should settle for anything less. But we know how most men are once you get involved with another man. Benefits are cut off & that’s probably what she was afraid would happen.
I’m battling with the whole kept woman thing. I’m sure it’s nice to not want for anything (but a real man in your life). They’re like hostages for the $$$. Afraid to move on with their lives even when the man is out popping babies & doing whatever makes them happy.
i don’t think she was worried about “benefits” i think it was more of, if you had the best why would u settle for less kind of thing.
Like if your use to Steak, why would you talk to a guy who could only offer hamburgers??

That’s right hanaboo. She needs to spend her time (and Wayne’s money) trying to further her education. How does she consider herself “worthy” of someone successful when she’s (just barely) known for being Lil Wayne’s “first baby mama”? Yeah I know they married at one point but, baby mama was first so baby mama she shall remain in my book. Anyway, the only reason she even has a reality show is because she had the dumb luck to have a child with a man who eventually became successful. Just wait until 1, 2 or all 3 of the baby mama’s start tripping and wanting more, more, more. Reginae isn’t too far off from 18 so Wayne’s liability is just about up. Toya is going to be looking stuck and so outta luck if/when he stops wanting or being able to provide or provide as much. She’d better take steps to get her future set and not be depending on a man as her pay check.

Idk it just seems like they are too young and they are making the mistakes young,dumb and full of cum people make. Even if she get her own, it won’t change what she will be seeking in a mate. But I do agree that she should take this time to catch up by getting her education or enterprize that makes her own money.

Anyway sweetheart, no hating here. It’s narrow minded thinking like that, that will keep you dependent on a man. In return you allow him to play with you & string you along how & when he please. Of course we’ve all had first loves but do you think he’s tripping? He’s out living his life doing his thing. If she’s smart, with the money she collects from him, she should invest & start her own business. So when the benefits run out she’ll have her own. Best thing you can do for yourself is have your own. You’ll have a better chance of meeting a decent man and not someone that just looks at you as a needy female.
So what do you think she should do since we’re hating? Keep jumping from man to man due to how many zeros they have in their back account?
