They have fulfilled their dream of being parents. The circumstances of the adoption are not known. The baby is obviously not white. When adopting, people often want to feel secure in the fact that the baby's birth mother will take care of their body while pregnant. This could be a situation of finding a birth mother that they felt comfortable with and not an issue of race. The possiblities are endless as to why they ended us with that beautiful little girl...a pregant teen at their church, a relatives baby... It just doesn't matter. Shame on so many of you. It's not all just about this one particular case and I wish them all the best...they will need all the luck they can get. Sorry but I don't think it's racist to look out for your own first. For all of u who think I should go adopt a child just because I have an opinion: I am not a million-dollar football player. I am one year out of university. However I do intend to adopt at some point when I have a good home to offer a child and I assure u I will not look to adopt a white baby and depend on angelina jolie to help out the black kids. I don't know what its like growing up as a white/latino kid. But I do know what its like growing up black and when I adopt and have my own kids I will do all I can to ensure that they attain the level of self esteem in childhood that it took me till adulthood to obtain....even if they will be growing up in a world where they are rejected by their own.
