Introducing Lou Sulola Samuel, the seven-week-old daughter of singer Seal and Supermodel Heidi Klum-Samuel!

“It´s difficult to imagine loving another child as much as you love your existing children.Anyone who has a family will tell you this.Where will one find that extra love? If you love your existing children with all of your heart, how then can one possibly find more heart with which to love another?”

louseal

“On Friday October ninth 2009 at 7:46pm, the answer to this question came in the form of our fourth child and second daughter. Lou Sulola was born and from the moment she looked into both of our eyes it was endless love at first sight. She is beautiful beyond words and we are happy that she chose us to watch her grow over the coming years.”

That seems a little insensitive to say. It’s obvious though, that Lou’s Mommy feels differently…if Heidi didn’t want her kids to resemble their father, it is logical that she would not have chosen to marry him and have two other children for a man who looks like Seal.

PISCES@ Haven’t you learned that people still don’t understand certain things. I certainly don’t find anything wrong with the baby looking like Seal since that is his father. And I’m certain that Mrs. H wouldn’t care at all. LOL!

SEal is a beautiful and sexy man, you crazyyy!!!!!! and she does look like Seal because for a baby who has a blonde haired blue eyed mom, she came out with a lot of color on her, dark eyes and black features. So she does look like him!!!!!!! and there is nothin wrong with that.

      • NikNak November 28, 2009 at 11:42 pm

A lot of people have dark hair and dark eyes, and they look nothing like Seal.

Johan has a tan, dark hair, and dark eyes, and everyone pretty much agrees he looks just like his mother.

and @Pisces, how are you being a part of the solution, bye nit picking people’s comments, that weren’t addressed to you. You are the one turning it to the dark side, by initiating the back and forth.

The point I was making is I don’t feel it’s necessary for you to go around policing people’s opinions … and then you snap when people point it out …

Oh, and I love the way you used “siksak” instead of NikNak, that was real genius, I would’ve never thought of that …

@ ytu…You’re entitled to your opinion just like NikNak pointed out. What we each find attractive or unattractive in each other is subjective and just a matter of personal taste.

You know, Seal dated Tyra Banks before he married Heidi Klum. Wonder what a Seal/Tyra offspring would have looked like? Probably beautiful like this baby because Tyra was a super model, too.

Thats fine that you dont find him attractive cause i know alot of people who dont find him attractive. Ironically, mosst of the people who dont find him attractive are black women. THeir reasoning, unlike yours, are his skin color and scars. They always say ” i wouldnt wanna date him cause i wouldnt wanna have charcoal babies”, or “he is black as midnite” stuff like that. Pretty ignorant if you ask me. Whats even more interesting, you would think more black women, would show him more love but instead the people who do find him attractive were white women and basically non-black women overall. Its interesting,i thought. Im not speaking to you, im just enumerating the various opinions of other black women who dont find him attractive, thats all. Whats even crazier, the same black women who complain bout how unattractive he is, go around and complain bout how he married a white woman and “he just dont like himself thats why he married a white woman”, but more like thats where he found the most love from….white women. Again, not speaking to you, am makin a generalized statement

just like Wesley snipes, i have heard so many bad comments about him but i love his features and i think he is crazy sexxy! i dont know maybe its just me….

Issy I don’t know what black women you have consulted, but most that I know love them some dark skinned black men..lol.

Taye Diggs is one chocolate guy as well as Tyrese, Tyson Beckford and that black guy that was in Daddy’s Little Girl (4 get his name) who gets lots of compliments from black women. Maybe it is not the dark skin all the time in some cases?

Anyhoo, I think Seal is attractive, so it depends. Stop lumping.

It seems as if you did not read my comment correctly. I never said ALL dark skinned black men, i was speaking specifically of Seal. I have heard alot of negative comments about him from black women so i was not surprised that she did not find him attractive cause that seemed to be the common consensus with alot of black women i have interacted with. Black women love chocolate men but for some reason Seal doesnt seem to be on that list i dont get it cause i think he is delicious.

Btw it is Idris Elba, sexy behind….

The genitor is Flavio Briatore, but Seal is her daddy. Flavio was never in her life and never intended to. I heard Seal is officially adopting Leni before Christmas, it’s wonderful that they will finally be complete as a family, all sharing the same name. Two little girls and two little boys with a great couple as their parents, it’s so moving!

      • NikNak November 29, 2009 at 2:19 pm

Yeah, Seal is a great father and a great example for all men, I’m sure Heidi feels very lucky to have someone as supportive as he, and who doesn’t consider a child/children from a previous relationship to be ‘baggage.’

I was reading somewhere that this woman had a child from a previous relationship, and the child’s father refused to see the baby. She met her husband and they got married. Her daughter considered her husband to be her father, and the two ended up having two more children together. The woman and her husband got divorced. One day, they had some argument, and when he came to pick up the kids the next day, she sent all three out, and that man sent her eldest back telling her she can’t come :-O

I don’t understand how some men treat children as if they are not human beings with feelings, let alone small human beings who are more fragile and not accustomed to cruelty from others just yet.

Yeah, go Seal for being a great human being and setting a great example for others.

Most newborns tend to look a like. I noted a small resemblance to Kenzo also as well as to her brother Johan when he was this age, heck even a little bit of Jennifer Hudsons baby thrown in. I believe she is going to be slightly darker than her brothers but still end up looking more like Johan. Johan looks a lot like his mom. Only time will tell–still too early.

    Torre-

I meant what I said. Black people don’t say Bi-racial that is something that white women came up with since they started marrying our black men.
Maybe you say bi-racial because you don’t want your child to be recognized as being black.

I don’t know if you know this but all black people are multi-racial. I don’t know where you have been but it started during slavery when the white slave master was raping little black girls as young as 12 years old, and grown women. This is why we are so many different shades of black.

Heidi’s baby is no different she’s black too. I hope this answers your question. Maybe you should try and watch ROOTS. that may help you too. okay Boo

    • Toya1 November 29, 2009 at 7:32 pm

hillabeans this is a ridiculous statement. Nobody should have to deny half of themselves. This child is biracial because she is part of 2 different races. Why should she only be labeled as one? Fact is she is just as much White as she is Black.
As well please don’t presume to speak for an entire ethnicity of people, I’m referring to your statement “Black people don’t say Bi-racial that is something that white women came up with since they started marrying our black men.” What kind of logic is that? You may believe in the one drop rule but not everyone within the Black community does so next time speak just for yourself.

      Flag this

      • hillabeans November 29, 2009 at 11:17 pm

Toya Sweety, I understand your concerns but i can tell that you are also very young.
Black people of a certain age know exactly what I am talking about.

I did not make this law the government did and it was put in the constitution.
The one-drop rule is a historical colloquial term for people in the United States that a person with any trace of African ancestry is black.

Talk to your government. And another thing, you cant tell who is bi-racial or not because the majority of them look black. black people have a lot of High yellow people in their family. Being mixed is no exception. Like I said the baby looks black to me so I will call it black, and so will the white man

        Flag this

        • Toya1 November 30, 2009 at 7:53 am

Please don’t patronize me. You know nothing about me so don’t assume anything. I know full well about our past and what the government has to say. However since when is the government always right? By taking away a persons choice to identify how they like you are taking part of that persons freedom away. As well it is now allowed for a person to check all of there ethnicity’s on the census. If you were only allowed to be Black this would never have been permitted. I am also well aware of the many different shades of Black seeing as this actually represents my family. We have all colours some mixed some not. My point is although yes my cousin whose mixed with Italian looks practically the same as my other cousin who is not mixed we are not going to tell her “you know what hun, you are not Italian you are only Black! This is the way the world sees it and this is the way it has to be!” Screw that! I will never tell her to deny her father’s side. They love her just as much as we do and should get some credit for her.
Bottom line is this you can one drop whomever you like but the person you’re doing it to knows who they are and doesn’t need you to tell them.
I would also like to say that by calling a person biracial it is not removing them from the Black community. They are still a part of us, it just means they are a part of another community as well and there is nothing wrong with that.
I am also not niave I’m well aware that a lot of world will see them as Black but they do have the right to say I’m Black and White (or whatever they are mixed with).
I also found it funny that you said “and so will the white man” this implies that ALL white people one drop. Not True! Some do, some don’t but please try to speak for yourself and not an entire race, especially one that you are not a part of.
I will end by saying that I think Black is beautiful! All shades dark to very light:) I believe everyone who has even just a drop of Black blood should be proud of it (I’m also aware that at times this is sadly not the case). I also believe every other race should feel the same way about themselves therefore when you have a person who is of 2 ethnicity’s they should be equally proud of both.

This argument reminds me of when Tiger Woods first came out, he was adamently stating he wasn’t just black, he was gablanasian or something like that. He received such applause that day on the Oprah show. Three months later, during one of his games, he was quoted saying, he has realized to them he’s just another black man. Of course this was after they reconstructed the course to prevent him winning, which he did anyway.

In the end Toya1, bi-racial/multi-racial, matters to the person, but to the others out in the world, you are still just Black.

Noone said any one has to deny any part of their heritage. Everyone should be proud of every part of their heritage. However, out in the real world, they are still Black.

The Hills stars make $100k per episode. The Atlanta Housewives make $30k. Both shows are stupid reality shows (I do not watch neither for the record), why do you think that is? A Black, bi-racial star will make thousands less than a white person.

Our President is bi-racial, but all people see is a Black man.

That is the point we are trying to get you to see. It’s not fair, it’s not right, we shouldn’t accept it, but it’s just is.

Hey Shirley. I understand what you are saying and I appreciate your well thought out response. I do agree with you completely in fact I did say that I was aware that a lot of world will see them as Black. This is a very accurate statement and I also can understand why. A mixed person can easily pass for Black because there are many Black people and Mixed people with the same phenotype, however a mixed person can rarely pass for White. So to society it’s easier just to call everyone Black. To me this wasn’t the problem I had with hillabeans statement it was the fact that she implied that they themselves should see themselves only as Black and nothing else. She said that there was no such word as biracial and that White women made it up when they started dating our men. I don’t agree with that. Saying you’re biracial is not implying you are not part of the Black race it simply means you have another race inside of you as well. I see nothing wrong with wanting to identify with both sides. Other people may see you as just one side of you but you should be allowed to see yourself the way you want.

I think that she looks a little like all her siblings. Excluding skin color obviously, Lou reminds me of Leni’s newborn picture. Lou also looks a lot like Johan and I see some of Henry in her as well. Such a beautiful family.

NiKNak……..yes it is all about skin complexion. If Seal and Bobby Brown was light, I can promise u half of the peeps that say they are unattractive wouldn’t be saying that. Cant no one dispute me on this……..honey I know from experience and things said what people think. Have heard the same remarks about Serena/Venus and Denzel’s wife amongst others that arent light. Because I am light with natural curly hair…..I am always sumthin else besides black, why? The only problems I have ever had concerning females have always been with dark complexion females. Honey they found me out real quick, dont let my coloring fool ya. Walk in the street and get a job just like that. Get into clubs quicker if lines were long and I know the reasons for all of this. So dont tell me it isn’t about coloring, because we as black people are a sad sad sad race. We will never come together as one……….to much jealousy and hate towards each other. On a last note, that beautiful little girl look just like her daddy as does the boys.

I think seal is a handsome man. Not only because he is just good looking, but because he seems like a wonderful husband but a great dad and he took care of another mans responsibility. The baby is sooooooooooo cute and she has both her parents looks. And lots of hair love it.

Thank you guys for finally getting these pictures. I have been checking this site weekly for baby Lou and here she is. She was worth the wait. Look at those eyes and lips. The two of them (Heidi and Seal)are my idol’s and being that I’m going through rough times I turn to them to remind me that there will be better days as long as I keep faith and keep moving. I want to be successful so that I could work on my family one day. I love Seal and yes he is a very handsome man I love his gap and I believe Heidi has a little gap as well. Such a beautiful family. So precious.

I have seen Seal in person in New York City and the reaction of women in his presence would shock you. Photographs don’t come close to capturing this man’s sex appeal. Trust me!

I’ve seen Seal in concert live and I agree with you. Heidi better watch him! No wonder she keeps having babies (among other reasons).

I was on a romantic weekend in Las Vegas when Seal was performing at the Ritz Carlton resort where we happened to be staying for two days. Seal performed on a floating platform by the resort and he was magnificent to behold.

I love his accent and Heidi’s accent. I wonder how the children sound when they speak and I wonder if they sprechen Deutch like their Mom?

Interesting comments. I really think black people should attempt to expand their definition of beautiful, because we are constantly measured against a European standard of beauty. I remember some unbelievably vicious comments being made about the African supermodel Alek Wek and I couldn’t help but wonder if the utter disdain for her looks was in large part due to the darkness of her skin. Having seen her up close I can say without reservation she is one of the most beautiful women I have ever seen. We have been programmed for 400 years. We should begin the deprogramming right now.

Agreed! and about Alex Wek–she is drop dead gorgeous. Let the deprogramming begin.

I agree with you that is all I am saying. Black people are beautiful and for some reason don’t like themselves because they are trying hard to be European, Not realizing the Europeans trying to look like them. To dumb to recognize they have a good thing.
I love all my black people light to dark it doesn’t matter. People with darker skin have less problems with their skin in fact it is impeccable.

And if black wasn’t beatuiful, there wouldn’t be a white flight for our men!

Hello this is my first posting ever on any site I read the comments on this site everday or almost everyday I find so many of the comments to be very entertaining however I am very disturbed by the remarks some make about the children we are all a combination of our parents though I kno u always state strongly that people have a right to state there opinions and I know that’s all it is I just feel we should be more cautious about what we say about the children and the comparisons to there parents Seal is a beautiful man all outer appearances shouldn’t be how we view people now some of u I’m sure have made some bad choices when it came to who helped in the conception of your children but I’m sure your feelings wouldve been hurt if someone said ooh I bet your glad your baby didn’t come out looking like him/her I enjoy the fact that some of the more known people allow us a look into there lives and share some of there most precious jewels gems with us that’s what we come to these sites for so please let’s stop with all this crazy talk and enjoy the good things this site brings to us there are so many other trashy sites out there must u be in the need to talk bad about someone release it all on those sites and hopefully when u decide to hit this sit up all the negativity will be gone and you can truely enjoy these beautiful pictures and leave better comments

This little baby is gorgeous. Look at those big beautiful eyes. I love seeing families stay together, be happy, and fruitful. Those are some of the luckiest kids in the world. And she was on the runway just weeks after giving birth. But this time she wasn’t wearing a bikini. It’s not so easy to snap back after 2 or 3 kids.
