MAYA RUDOLPH WELCOMES A BABY GIRL

It’s a girl for Maya Rudolph and her husband Paul Thomas Anderson. The couple welcomed their daughter Lucille on November 6th. Rudolph and Anderson, a film director, are already parents to four-year-old daughter Pearl.
The former Saturday Night Live star first announced her pregnancy in May, right before the release of her film “Away We Go”, in which she plays the role of an expectant mom.
“I wasn’t planning on sharing it, but yes I am pregnant!” she said back in May “I know it’s really weird timing.”
Awwww. Congrats to Maya and hubby. Too bad her mama, Minnie, never got a chance to know her grandchildren.
I’d forgotten that Maya was a celebrity baby herself. I’ve liked all of the Minnie Riperton songs I’ve heard.

WHY SUCH OLD NAMES? I’M SURPRISED SHE HASNT NAME THEM MINNIE.
Probably because the name means something to them. They didn’t just throw some alphabets up in the air and try to come up with something just to sound exotic. LOL Many people, happily, are getting away from all that silliness.
I know very little about this woman, but when I found out that she is the daughter of Minnie Ripperton, I immediately fell in love with her. I loved her mother. I shall always remember that the day I arrived in London was the day of her death. Gone far too soon.

we all loved minnie. i suppose she is on a higher level now. she could have named her minnie but since her father supposedly told her nothing about her mother, how could she. i heard she found out minnie rippleton was her mother from the view. that is embarrassing. she does not look like minnie, to me. she must look like that so-call daddy of her’s. i never have seen him. but he could have told her that her mother was the late minnie rippleton.
