Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon and her two-year-old twins Jax and Jaid shopped for a Cause this past weekend(December 6th).

Nice looking kids. I remember when they were newborns and people were using them to justify a black person like Garcelle and Michael jackson can have white children. Well look at them now. They don’t look all white, although they are very light. I love their silky curly hair and their large eyes.

Well, Jaid is just white, nothing else but he really looks like Garcelle (it’s to who think he looks like daddy because he is blond…, and Jax could be spanish or italian.
They are cute as hell.
And yes black people can have white kids, i’m carribean and our mixed kids are white, sometimes they don’t even have curly hair.
But who cares, as long as they are loved.

Maybe I could help you: these countries have been colonized a long time ago by moorish (arabs dark skinned), and today in the south of Italy, Spain, Portugal, and greece, you can find dark people, even darker than Jax.

YTF, those children may be light but they still have biracial features, and anyone looking at those children will see that they are biracial. My friends is a lightskinned Jamacian woman and she has a son by a white man that looks identical to Garcelle twins and her son has green eyes. But he still looks biracial. No matter how white he looks he has ethnic features.And again I do have full blooded Italian friends are same complextion as MJ kids.

I made that point about skin color because every keep saying Paris and Prince I were too dark to be the product of two White people. Who came up with the term olive skin tone. White people, they use that term to decribe the complextion of people who are Italian, Greek and etc.

Actually, I am a scholar of Spanish And Italian history and people, and I know that the moorish tribes, though they were relatively dark, were caucasian. Look that up instead of reading misguided or outright lying pseudo black militants. By the way, the moorish and iberian tribes of spain and portugal also went to the British Isles, are they suddenly black as well in your book. Is that enough for you. I’m French, living with those people, my ex boyfriend is italian, and my best friends are portugese, I had the chance to travel several times to these countries, plus, here we often go vacationning in Spain.
Guess I know what i’m talking about…more than you who just “studied” this.

Dark doesn’t mean black, and i’m sorry but Jax is light comparing to people from the south I know (and I’m not even talking about arabs, you don’t really know them in USA, we have a lot of them here in France).

People from Spain, Italy and Greece can have darker skin. But this does not mean they are non white. They still belong to the white European race. In addition to being naturally dark, people of Mediterranean descent tend to tan really well. So do Jews. It does not mean they are not white. And black people do not have white children. They may have light children, but never white. Mixed people may have children that look white, like Victoria Rowell.

Thank you for pointing this out. And as for cutily, I already know everything of which you say, and I have travelled to France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. I have French and latin American roots in fact and was born in Latin America. I know what I’m talking about, and you don’t. And cutily sounds like any other ghetto person trying to sound knowledgeable and sophisticated. And If I remember the conversation we weren’t talking about the French. And the moors who were indeed caucasian, were only in southern spain as well, maybe you need to check your facts too instead of spouting off nonsense. Oh, and caucasian hair is supposed to have a little curl too it. Its not supposed to be lank straight, contrary to what many people like to believe. And the caucasian spectrum of features and hair types runs a wide gamut.

We do know that the American Government shows that the Arabs have passports showing that they are non-Black, because that’s the way they choose to put it. There was much talk about that when Anwar Sadat was head of Egypt, remember? But the above posters makes a good point about travel. You will find things that are written in books quite different from the way they are in “real life”. Travel is better than any lesson you can learn from any book. But it’s always hard to prove your point with those who do not travel, and better yet, spend time living in these places. If you want to see interesting twins, you should see Jennifer Lopez’s children. They are both darker skinned that the parents and the girl EMME has kinky/curly hair. They look nothing alike but they do look like their father only a darker version. Her twins are almost two years old , but they have only been seen in public three times. Strange isn’t it, since JLO and her husband are always out without their children.

They are beautiful boys with lovely skin. Have you seen Persia White’s daughter or Ray Dawn Chong’s daughter? Their daughters do look white and obviously took after the fathers more. Jax and Jaid look more like a mix of both parents in coloring. The blonder one looks more like mother I think.

I’m sorry but the blond one could easily pass for an english or irish kid. His features are not particularly ethnic or exotic. The other one, Jax, could pass for a latino or spanish dude, it’s so funny haha… I think this family is a good example because it shows that mixed kids can come in any color.

English or Irish, hell no. I have Irish people in my family and they would laugh at that. That kid does not look white. Imagine him with darker skin. The facial features give him away. As he gets older, they will only get more pronounced.

Lorna, explain Jolie’s lips and some white’s with pug noses. etc. And before you say maybe they got some black in ‘em, maybe not. Some “features” run gamut between races…and some are just plain neutral. I am not going to pretend away the loose distinctions, as they do exist, but key word is “loose”–no hard and fast rule as one defined feature tends to “gray” into the other, depending on one’s point of view…
The boy looks more “white” overall than black. It is only in profile that the so called black features that you called out of his are more prominent.
Blacks sure know how to pick apart something—all this debating about Garcelle’s children–its old hat now.

It’s funny how many continue to classify people according to their looks. We know that most of us (black people) have various ethnicities intermingled within our DNA – some more than others. Yet, in my long years on this planet, I have seen people defy racial concepts. In other words, we’ve all seen people who look one race, but are actually another. We seem to be so enraptured with the racial constructs of people. I guess there’s nothing wrong with that except we seem to be obsessed at times. I don’t know.
There are black people who look Latin, white, Asian, and everything in between. It’s hard to tell by looking at someone exactly what racial group they belong to. Tyra did a show on that. She had a panel of several women everyone thought were biracial. They weren’t. They all had two black parents. Yep, somewhere along the lines there was some mixing, but not in recent generations. Go figure.

Exactly. It is not about the color of the children or their hair textures. There are white people who tan as dark as the little darker one. And white people with hair even curlier than those two. But you can clearly look at their facial features and see they are not all white. Forget color. It has more to do with skull shape and facial features more than anything.
