DENNIS RODMAN MUST PAY UP
A judge has ordered former NBA player Dennis Rodman to pay $50,000 per month in child support to Michelle Rodman, the mother of two of his children. Michelle’s lawyers Feinberg and Waller made their arguments based on the following: “Michelle Rodman and the children, an 8-year-old son and a 7-year-old daughter, had been evicted from their home and they had their utilities turned off. Michelle Rodman’s ability to provide basic necessities for her children was severely limited by Dennis Rodman’s failure to provide ample support for the children. [So] on December 7, 2009, the law offices of Feinberg & Waller, APC was successful in obtaining a court order in the Orange County Superior Court, case number 04D002751, requiring Dennis Rodman to pay Michelle $50,000.00 per month child support. The court also made a finding that Dennis Rodman was $100,000.00 in arrears on child support. Dennis Rodman refused earlier requests to voluntarily agree to a child support order without resort to court intervention. Michelle Rodman testified that Dennis Rodman allowed over $20,000 in medical bills for his children to accrue without making any contribution whatsoever to those bills, thus limiting the availability of medical care for the children. The State of California will now assist in the collection of this support and these arrears through wage assignment and other collection services.” (Source)
It was also noted that Dennis Rodman is “currently an absentee father.”

First of all, is Dennis Rodman even employed? If not then why does he have to pay $50,000 a month. Sometimes these judges make it impossible to get caught up on child support payments if they start out with ridiculous amounts. If he has a job making a decent salary than pay up.

He has made made millions of dollars in the NBA. Not to mention he owns a ton of businesses and property. He can live off of the interest alone without even touching the money he has in the bank. His kids need and deserve to live just as good as he is living.
Tanisha, he has had quite the illustrious and long (enviably long) basketball career. He has won over 6 championship rings and not as a benchwarmer mind you. I’ll give him that, I admired his basketball skills on the court–could have done without the other antics–but no hate for the ‘bro. For some odd reasons I rooted for him most times even when he appeared to be his own worse enemy –as the misunderstood guy trying to find his way in the world–his wild antics didn’t fool me.
Wonder if he was smart with all his earnings and I hope he doesn’t ‘repeat the same mess his own father was about–read that that man fathered 27 children by 4 different women and didn’t have a stake at all in raising Dennis…

GTSA, thanks for the insight. I had forgotten about Rodman’s hard knock life. Combined with partying ,alcohol and drug abuse, womanizing and nature, his appearance is bound to suffer.
He was employed when he made those babies. Looking at this picture of him and the previous one of Madonna…….man, what a pair they would have been. Just saying.
Hahahahahahahahaha! But maybe he would have gotten paid by her. That could have helped him out with his child support. Madonna and Dennis have been living hard from the looks of them both.
But he didn’t need to get paid by her. He did his own thing. Just seems to have done a little too much of it.
I could never understand why any woman, money or not, would want to be with Dennis “ticking time bomb” Rodman.

Dennis back in his Piston days was an ordinary looking guy. He wasn’t ugly at all. He had an interesting look more so. He has gone and piereced and tatted himself and of course time is a theif as we know–he’s aged and that pick certainly tells the story.

His thang is to appear to out of the norm that it garners attention. I think it’s ok in this case because Dennis doesn’t even play down his look.
