GTSA – I also read where the both of them utilize nannies quite often because they BOTH spend a lot of time away from home, so just because she has custody doesn’t mean she’s doing the ‘heavy lifting’. I hesitate to make a call either way because there is always the 3rd side, THE TRUTH. I’d venture to guess they both have a fault in this. I will say though, he’s requiring more respect from me for not trying to put her on front street and calling her out. Just saying.

Well, she said he didn’t call for the birthday on December 1st, however this is just a few days later, so I have to wonder. They don’t look unhappy to be with their dad either if they feel he gets away with ‘everything’ as Ms. Winans stated. I’m not sure what he did or didn’t do, but I know this is an inappropriate way to handle the situation when you have children.

I agree…..I’d rather see a sermon than hear one any day! I don’t think his wife would just make up stuff if it wasn’t true. Just because he got off doesn’t mean he was not guilty. Most of these Black men not all (but most) are not in their childrens lives. but just let one bebecome famous…then here come the daddy talking bout this is my daughter or son, when they need to go sit down somewhere!

Battery is a misdemeanor charge and if you’re a first time offender, especially one with a good reputation, you would possibly be offered the opportunity to complete therapy and/or classes as a way to have the charges dismissed. The charges are only carried out if you do not complete the classes or therapy. I know this because i’ve worked for FavorHouse and have done abuse counseling. The charges being dismissed does not in any way mean that he did not abuse her. There had to be probable cause for them to arrest him in the first place.

I know that it is reported that Oprah will not have him on her show until this marriage thing is cleared. But he has the spotlight and so he will have the final say. I wish him all the best, but I just have think that his wife must being telling some truth. I always rest assured that the truth will come out, not for the public, but for the sake of the person involved.

Talk about two sides to every story. Somehow I am willing to bet on most of what the mom says. Some people have a public and then a private persona. I don’t know the intimate details but will say this–She has custody, she is doing the heavy lifting of raising these kids which is sadly often the case-we women take on so much. I know too many dads fronting and cheesing it up for the “photo-op”. Too many of us need to learn how to be “4 real”

Sorry, but not calling your son for his Birthday. If this is true. He said she said. But if I was a betting person, I would believe he did not call his son. The kids are going to suffer the most.
