FIRST PICTURE OF HANK BASSETT IV
Hank Randall Baskett IV, the son of Kendra Wilkinson and NFL player Hank Baskett, is featured on the cover of OK! magazine’s latest issue. Hank Baskett IV was born on December 11th via Cesarean, weighing 9lbs, 5oz. Why such a big baby? Kendra explains jokingly that she ate a lot of brownies before giving birth.
“The good thing about being induced is that it’s like planning a trip, just very calm. We ate a huge dinner before we came to the hospital. I ate a whole batch of brownies because I was nervous. No wonder he’s 9 pounds!”
I was induced early in the morning; then it was wait, wait, wait,” she added. “I was experiencing contractions throughout the day, and I was anxious. I kept checking the monitor every second, like “Is it happening yet?”

Ummmm… that baby was just born Friday and he is already on the cover of OK magazine!!! I really think Kendra was holding off for the top bidder to get rights to these pics. She has been doing so much with People magazine and I am so surprised she did not let them have the first pics of baby Hank. But I guess the early bird gets the worm. My husband said that Hank III is not making that much money in the NFL now-a-days and Kendra is not working right now so they must really need that money.

From what I can see of the baby here, he is a cutie. She had a C so she didn’t have to push him out so that helps appearance wise in most cases–lol
I think it is ok that baby pics are up so soon. Most people have baby pics done in the hospital within a day or so of baby’s birth anyway.
I just hope she didn’t have a full out photo session with a big camera crew and the like–really, newborns shouldn’t be exposed to all that.
Someone referred to her as a media (word omitted but rhymes with bore), not sure, but wonder how much she and Hank got for these pics, I bet money was involved and well who wouldn’t want to show their new kid off anyway. Congrats!

I don’t get the fuss over baby pictures. All newborns look alike. Give the kid a few months and we will see what it really looks like, when its features start to look like a real person. And are those two such big celebrities that people actually want to see their kid? I am not a sports fan, nor am I a fan of vapid playboy models, so I cannot say I care much.

Well, Kendra was once a Playboy bunny, and one of Hugh Hefner’s girlfriends. If she can put all her “assets” on display for the whole world to see (I wonder how Hank feels about that), then of course she can “sell” her firstborn to the media barely out of the womb. Anything for money.

Hank doesnt have a lucrative contract, but he still makes a decent salary than most people. Kendra’s a drama queen and loves the media attention.

Wow that was fast! I wasn’t expecting to see a baby for at least a month. How brave of her to do a photo shoot of herself right after giving birth. Most women I know were picky about taking pictures in the hospital after they gave birth. The baby is cute and i’m glad he was born healthy.

The baby is adorable but it looks like every other baby who is not even a week old lol. I think they did it for the money magazines loves to post pictures of celebrities babies and the quicker they get the pictures published the harder it is for the paparazzi to get the first pictures then the magazines wouldnt really care anymore about publishing and spending money.

I totally agree with most of the post up here, I think she was really beat to show the baby off, she must have been trying to get him in there before her 5 minutes of fame died down and we all forget who she is…I mean seriously with the hospital bracelet on that was a bit much for a fresh newborn, even if it wasn’t a full on photo shoot which im sure it was but even if it wasn’t having people come in like that with all thats going around was very dangerous for the baby…

Uhmm.. I dont see what the big deal is. Don’t all babies have a photo shoot before they the hospital? I know mine did.
Most celeb sell the rights to the kids photo so no one else will make money off their kid. Do you know how many pazz will be climbing trees and hiding out in the brushes for this kids first photo? I’m sure there are several folks out there who couldn’t wait to make a few dollars off this kid’s picture. Now the only the people making money from the first photo will be The Hanks and OK magazine.

Its still common for her to sell her baby pics when the child is not even a week old. What happens at some future date when she decides she doesn’t want the paps following her kid? They can always say she invited them to do so. And taking pics of newborn babies privately for the sake of family and friends is different from selling their pics to the highest bidder for self-aggrandisement.

Congratulations to Kendra and Hank Sr on behalf of their bundle of joy. He is so beautiful and a BIG BABY. Perhaps a future ball player like his father. I am looking forward to seeing her reality show again. Also Hank Sr is still playing ball and is employed with the Indianapolis Colts. He is a decent player. I hope their marriage can endure the ups and downs of the football lifestyle because it is unpredictable at times. No matter what their greatest joy is here. Congrats to them.

Awww, the irony. Halle Berry can’t get the paps to leave her alone and absolutely refused to pimp her child out to sell mags but then you have Kendra Z-list with an infant whose umbilical cord that’s probably still attached and a c-section incision that may still be pending stitching,grinning on A tabloid mag as if it was a case of dire emergency that this poor child be paraded to the public. She definitely has her priorities together….NOT!
