VIDEO: COME INTO RJ’S WORLD
In case you missed it: The following is a video of Rodney Peete Jr. (RJ) , the son of former NFL player Rodney Peete and actress Holly Robinson Peete. The video is in support of autism, a condition which affects RJ. In the video, you will see a slideshow of RJ and his family and you will hear song “Come Into My World”, which was written and performed by Holly and RJ.
The HollyRod Foundation was started by the Peetes eleven years ago to give a voice and a hand to those striving for quality of life when theirs has been diminished due to disease or disorders. Through watching Holly’s father, Matthew T. Robinson, struggle with Parkinson’s disease the Peetes were moved to form the foundation. After Holly and Rodneys eldest son, RJ, was diagnosed with autism, the foundation expanded its mission creating the hollyrod4kids initiative. (source)

This is wonderful and thanks for the link to the website. I never knew that the original “Gordon” on Sesame Street was the father of Holly Robinson. When that show first aired I sat with my children and watched it every morning and they loved Gordon as did I. Thanks so much for this wonderful video and article.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful video clip BCK. What a handsome, intelligent, and thoughtful young man. Autism is still so misunderstood. I am so glad RJ disproved many of the know-it-all physicians. No doubt his loving parents were at the heart of this and of course I give RJ much credit and props.
I heart all parents, relatives, children touched by this. Hope we can all come to a better understanding one day.
