First lady Michelle Obama, her daughters Sasha,8, and Malia,11, visited the Children’s National Medical Center today(December 22, 2009). The Obama family, sans the president, toured the hospital and even read Christmas stories to the children.
Even the family dog came along for the joyous day of Christmas cheer.

The girls look great.
I’m glad they did this.
Also glad to see that they got their dog that they wanted.
Lol At the skinny santa in the background.
But I’m sure he is still spreading joy to the kids.
Bo looks so big.

Thank you, Thank you BCK! My favorite American family. The girls are beautiful and I just love Bo. Got his picture as he played in the snow. I do hope they have a wonderful holiday season and they get a chance to relax in Hawaii. They all deserve it.

Malia and Sasha are growing FAST – especially Malia! The First Family are such examples to everyone regardless of race, creed, or color. I absolutely adore them (that includes Bo too).
Bo is to cute with his two little white paws.

Did anyone see in the news that they had arrested a woman in Honolulu who threatened to kill Mrs. Obama. And I thought that they would get some relief from all this madness in Hawaii. Oh dear.

Khrish, no I hadn’t heard that! Girl, nothing surprises me. The demons have come out in full force since President Obama got elected. We haven’t seen anything yet. Thank God He has protected them thus far.
LOL @ Bo. He was about to get Santa baby.

Teri you are so right. The President has to be a very strong man to deal with this day to day threat on his life and worse, the lives of his family and the tough job of cleaning up this country before he can even put many of his plans in place. I really thought that the kind of hate shown them was a thing of the past. I know many don’t like him and never would but I just never expected all of these nut cases to come out of the woodwork. So much hate in people’s hearts…..It’s so very sad. HAPPY HOLIDAYS.

Khrish, I know that’s right. I wouldn’t even want the job. He’s the clean up guy for the last 8 years. Everyone is on his behind because they are too impatient for change. I feel for him and his family. I know he’s a strong man and Michelle is a strong woman. They’ve been protected so far. Thank God for that!
You have a wonderful and Happy Holiday too!

it’s nice that they can do things like this. especially that they can include the kids, because i know the Obamas don’t like too much exposure for the girls, but this was a nice event for them to attend. and Bo as well lol! also enjoyed reading the transcript of the event. i wish i could see a video as well.

I love Malia, Sasha and Michele Obama. But I do think Michelle and Malia need a new hairstylist. It’s Time For A Change…

An 11 year-old doesn’t need a regular hair stylist. Get over yourself.

Hmmm.That’s your opinion, obviously.
Michelle does change up her style, but choses to keeps it conservative as to be expected of the wife of the Head of State. I do like that in spite of an overall conservative AND classy appearance, she adds punches of her own style to her overall look. Harder to pull off than many realize.
Also, while I don’t personally care for Malia’s style because I don’t have the patience to have mine styled such a way, it looks cute on her. Once it is all done, it appears to be very low maintenance for her active life and I like that it has an ethnic look to it. I hope in some way other little black girls can see her and her sisters as role models. I know they didn’t sign up for it, but those are some lovely, well spoken little girls–so why not?

yall need to leave that child’s hair alone…its lovely!
I saw this video on the news and Bo wasnt having it cuz that Santa was probably too close to his girls….so he kept barking at santa and giving santa attitude! Too cute!

listen, first of all sasha looks like her mother and father that is why she is such a doll. girls usually favor their fathers anyway. first lady is very attractive in so many ways, even physically. she has so much more for us that we can look past her physically, however, if we wanted to stay focused on her physically, we can because she is much to look at. still, i think the first daughters have grown a little and looking sassy at the same time. keep the pictures coming. luv you.

I love It that Michelle decided to keep the girl’s hair in its beautiful natural state. It looks lovely on them. Malia’s twists are lovely all the time. They don’t need a stylist. They are little girls. I hope their hair stay this way for a long time. It reminds me of my daughters hairstyles when she was little and wore her hair in its natural state when all the other girls had perms. Thanks to Michelle for keeping it natural!
