@Khrish..YES! Finally, a picture of Spike Lee doing something interactive and sports oriented with his son. Such a good look, and I love seeing it. I knew these moments had to be happening between the two of them because Spike seems to be such an avid fan of sports.
So nice to see a father and son sharing quality time.

Happy New Year, Khrish (Heri ya Mwaka Mpya!)

My heart goes out the family featured in “One Big Family.” I have v. close friends who struggle with “morbid obesity” so I know it’s not easy. I do wonder what the show will be like though… will TLC facilitate them getting help? Or, is the public just going to ridicule them?

Honestly, if I was in their shoes, I don’t think I’d be strong enough to go on NATIONAL tv. (I can’t imagine the negative feedback.) Unfortunately, I don’t get the show/channel where I live now, so I didn’t watch. Is it a series or one-time show?

I watched One Big Happy Family and in just seeing the previews I was frightened at what this show was going to be about. But after watching it, they are a very nice, intelligent family. They are a “real, normal family” who happens to be either morbidly or super obese. They have some serious issues with their weight and I hope this show is a resource to get themselves on track with their health.

I haven’t seen the show yet but I will watch the show when it come on this week. It seem interesting since so many Americans are obese.
