In the following video, actress Holly Robinson Peete and her daughter Elizabeth Ryan Peete talk about their new book, My Brother Charlie, a book loosely based on the Peete’s experiences with living with a child who has autism. “The child” in this case happens to be Ryan’s twin brother RJ. The story is told from Ryan’s point of view.

Beautiful and dedicated family. I remember when the children were born and it’s amazing how fast these kids grow (I feel like I know them). LOL
I do not know anyone with autisim personally so I hope that a lot of people can learn from the Peete’s experiences. Children are a blessing from God no matter how hard the journey and I hope they can continue to find joy through the circumstances.

That was an excellent video. I think Ryan Elizabeth has blossomed into a beautiful and intelligent young lady. Holly Robinson is a great mother (you can just tell). She goes the extra mile for ALL of her kids and her husband. I can’t wait to read the book and hope that it helps other kids with autism as well as kids that might be afraid to becoome friends with people that might be just a little different from them. Great family and I wish them well.

Very cute kids and I love the Peete’s. More people need to be educated on autism so I applaud them for writing this book.
