KELIS TAKES A LAX STROLL WITH KNIGHT
Singer Kelis arrived at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) with her son Knight (b. July 21, 2009)
on January 12th.
The trendy mom is working on a new album and said recently that she feels that women should be able to balance career with family.
“… I feel like your child should be a part of your life, not that your life should change because of your child. I never wanted to be that type of woman who couldn’t balance her family and work.”
As for her fashion style, Kelis says that she is inspired by her son Knight.
“Honestly, I haven’t completely figured [my style] out yet. Because I named my son Knight, I think I’ve been in a kind of Joan of Arc, World of Battles vibe. So everything has been lots of armor and metal for right now. But I have no idea where I’m going with it.”
Knight is riding in a Baby Trend Double Snap N Go Stroller Frame, Black, which allows parents to place infant car seat on carriage frame without removing child.

HER HAIR IS NOT THE BUSINESS AND I WISH I SAW A GLIMPSE OF KNIGHT THO BUT ITS COOL HE PROLLY WAS SLEEP.
The burden of being a single mother is written all over her face ..Black women , we need to get it together!
Lacy, your comment puzzles me. She couldn’t make her marriage work, it takes two to keep a marriage going.
Black women aren’t the only ones who need to get it together, we are doing most of the heavy lifitng single and married.
The money sure did help a lot, but I remember Juanita Jordan saying she felt like a single mom most times AND I bet she did…
Amen! I can’t understand why WOMEN keep acting like the money she got is unfair. I’m sure she would also love have been able to keep her family together. We must stop being our own worse enemies.
This site’s obsession with hair is so silly.
What’s up with the hair? She needs to stop doing it herself and go to a professional and if she’s paying for that, she needs a refund!!!!!
I agree!!! lol.
I am proud of Kellis. It is not easy being a single mom but she seem to have a handle on it. You go Kelis.
emotionally I agree, it´s always hard when the marriage fails and you have a baby….but…..she ain´t a single mom that has trouble going to the studio tho….she gets enough child support to feed 100 children eaach month….lol
ok this time her hair does look terrible, but she has such a pretty face.
Agreed on both points. Will say that the hair doesn’t surpise as she seems to have her own unique style. Nothing wrong with unique, but make it work–or at least compliment.
