THE OBAMAS GIVE BACK ON MLK DAY
President Barack Obama , along with the first lady and their daughters Malia,11, and Sasha,8, volunteered at the So Others Might Eat soup kitchen and social services center in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
“Dr. King dedicated his life to advancing social justice and equal opportunity for all. But more than forty years after his death, there is still much work left to be done. Through service, we honor his legacy by helping our neighbors, strengthening our communities and meeting the challenges we face together. I encourage all Americans to not only continue Dr. King’s work through service today, but to make service a part of your lives every day,” said Obama about this historical day.

I hope the “coolness’ of President Obama’s even temper brings him some peace. It seems he does all he can to promote man’s humanity for man and still people constantly damn him for what he does or what he doesn’t do. I’ve not seen another president who has been under such scrutiny in all the sitting presidents I’ve lived under in this country. I continue to wish the best to him and his lovely family.

I see Malia is almost looking at her parents eye to eye. I think Sasha looks like her mom and dad. She has her mother’s complexion and hue,still, I see alot of President Obama in her features. She and her sister are true dolls. It is always a joy to see and hear about whatever they do.
