Is this his second marriage? Wasn’t he married to one of the women singers when he and Babyface were a part of a group? Or is this the same woman? I thought he was married to the woman who had the big hit DO YOU WANNA RIDE IN MY MERCEDES. Maybe I’m mistaken. Does anyone know?

Khrish, its ok. They were the big r&b producers once upon a time and blew up around the same time. I recall the days of Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis and L.A. Reid and Babyface.
Believe you were referencing L.A. Reid and then wife Pebbles who made a brief splash on the music scene some years back.

Yes. Karyn White sung “Im not your superwoman”! I remember that song bc we use to sing it on the school bus. The good days with the best music. You have to love the 80′s and 90′s music.

Yes, Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis are STILL hitmaking music producers, working in their massive Flyte Tyme Studios (Los Angeles) for many recording artists, including the Jackson brothers, and currently with their baby, Janet on another forthcoming smash! Just think of them as the 2nd generation Quincy Jones’(with a plural-lol) for they have catapulted their legendary sound into the realm of film, tv, and studio recordings! Yes, Terry Lewis, was once married to singer Karyn White, where they have a daughter, Ashley (born November ’92). Jimmy Jam also serves on the Recording Academy board (Grammy Emeritus Chairman), and he and Terry are on ASCAP’s (American Society of Composers, Authors & Publishers) board as well, so their lives, personally and professionally are QUITE full, to say the least!!
@ Nellz – Yes, you’re right…Jimmy’s lovely wife Lisa is the sister of Brandi, Kevin Garnett’s wife, where Jimmy and Kevin have long been friends before they met their wives – great connections, right? Lastly, Pebbles, as you may already know, now goes by her real name, Perri Reid, and is a minister in Atlanta and good friends with CeCe Winans and others in the theological field.
